hey guys! thanks for all the sensible advice. i seriously feel better now😊you know i was thinking that all the odhnians on this forum should make a habit of posting at least one positive comment everyday on the RBO star one site. not to answer back the geet fans but to let the director and team of odhni know that there are loads of people who love the show. what say? do u guys agree? let's start doing that, no?

One of my IF friends is a Geet fan, and from her FB profile I found that the Geet team or the dept in Star One channel that is in charge of Geet seem to be very active keeping in touch with fans.

I am not saying that the RBO team should do the same. Am just asking what your views are about that... do such things help in a serial becoming popular? It is the chicken-and-egg question- is it because Geet is popular that the channel is promoting it, or is the channel's promotion making it popular?

There seem to be lots of photos, off camera, from the Geet sets.. fans seem to know names of crew members and all..

Star One channel has also started celebrating 100 episodes of Geet... RBO and Geet started on the same day, so why only Geet? There is some kind of contest on the channel's Geet page, about fav dialogue, fav moment etc...

I personally prefer to be low-key and let the work talk... but this is show business, so.....

Oh gosh.. are you serious!

I agree with May.. lets ignore them and make sure of putting our comments on the page.. also may be a kind note to the production and the Cv's and the actors FB fan pages would make them feel good.

I just dont' want a good show like this to be ruined by some fans.. sad!!!

definitely geet is promoted in the best possible way by starone.And i must admit the show is popular as well.And man they promote it like antyhing with each and every tv ad break showing geet clippings for promos.

there are various reasons for its popularity

.1.maan has a clean image among the tv viewers in india from his portrayal as ram.there are many many more fans for him than for kt(No offence meant to us kt fans)

2.DD is very popular from DMG as muskaan.I remember i used to like her a lot. as muskaan.

3.The concept of cheated NRI marrriages is highly releavant topic to the present young generation than widow remarriage.but I am damn sure our show is fast catching up.

4.The timing for our show is highly competitive than geet;s timings.there is uttaran on colors.,sangini on zee.,tere liye on star plus,rakth sambandh on imagine out of which except the first all are brand new shows.Where as far geet it is nearly no new shows at the same time.

5.It seems kt does not seem to like posting of offscreen pictures( i read that from yashu;s FB where someone had asked her to post pictures ofscreeon of kt.,but she politely said she cannot do it because karan does not like it) whereas

All actors of geet be it DD , GC.adi character,naintara character,(do not know their real names),abhinav shukla all pose for so many offscreen pictures sportingly.,and these small things have an huge impact in publicity. And as far as i know GC is a darling in connecting with fans.he often reads and replies personally to messages as and when possible.This i get to know from their site.I feel kt is far behind in that. PR aspect.But the director swapnaji,yashashri,yash and matmaji are sort of promoting it to the extent possible by theier FBs and prompt replies.

I do want the channel to do the same things as they do for RBO.But i do not know if they would.As far as 100th episode we have to wait and see if at all there is any celebration from their side for our show.But for geet i am sure it will be a dhamaka.hopefully they do that for our show.

yeah shaantak from today i am at posting nice comments for our show on starone..that is the way to go.

Sorry Gaayu, I am not good aT really detailed things but I like old saying where they fit....' If something is not broken, why fix it ' and 'Too many cooks spoil the broth '.....

The reason I am saying this is because we should show our apprieciation, but not try and ulter the show in anyway....Constructive comments and preferances are fine, but they shouldn't interfere with the CV own vision.....After all we are all praises for their work aren't we....So keeping in touch with fans is fine, but I don't want the CV too think they have to give in too audiences every whim....If Maddy was here she would say I am contradicting myself and I am sorry if I am Gaayu😳....I have my reasons for saying this, it's too long and boring to explain😆.....

I think Geet had the upper hand to start with, because the leads were part of other shows, so I gather from various comments.....The channel might be using this to their advantage....But in order of fairness all showed shoud get equal coverage😊.....

I think we can celebrate in our own way and there will be 100 artiicles I am sure....Plus the JTN seems timed for this ocaission it seems and RBO has got publicity from that😊......

beign low-key is best gaayu..trust me..when cv's come into the pic and start actively engaging with the fans - things get CRAZY.. and i am talking from experience.. this is one of the reasons mayur got ruined... one of their cv's started visiting the forum (ppl from mjht section wud know who i'm talking abt😛).. and bas... in a few WEEKS - thigns started going downhill.. at first i thought it was a good thing ke a cv is coming to ask us for our constant feedback and to get ideas from us.. per now.👎🏼. kyunke fans have a wide range of ideas - many of which rn't even suitable for the characters or storylines.. many fans just wanted to se ROMANTIC scenes no matter how irrelevant they wud be to the story.. and result yeh hua ke mjht mayur k story itni RANDOM ho gayi - where it seemed scenes were just being thrown in with no head or feet no relevance to the story..

now agar geet ke cv's bhi yeh kar rahe hain.. toh no offense, but look at its story - kuch bhi aage bari hai woh last month se? i left watching it when geet was hired by maan's daadi.. if i'm not wrong, story abhi bhi wahi ki wahi atki wi hai - both in love but same old fight mdoe bla bla.geet ka character pata nahi kya se kya ho gaya...

sooo..... my point is.. ke i used to be very positive abt the idea of cv's actively engaging with fans.. per after mjht experience, i have all of a suddden become very against it.. kyunke hota yeh hai fans ke chakkar mein cv's forget their own creativity....and then things start going downhill...

so in rbo\s case, it wu dbe good if cv's ask for feedback sometimes.. but they shud make the show go their own way, just how hav done till now..😊

pata nahi whether i answered ur q or not.. i just seemed to be rambling on and on😆 per u know i do agree with ur contest waale ideas... they shud promote rbo more def.

Excuse me.. But do u have any proof dat da lnmdj fans r talking ill of ur rbo?..... Or is it just dat u like 2 create such bakwaas n uneeded controversies?....uall have da entire rite 2 express ur opinions...., but dere is a certain manner of in Wich dey shud be expressed..... Wich by reading sum of ur comments,... Noe dat u lack... Expressing opinions is one thing.,,, but like dis............ N on toppa dat on dis forum were da majority including yal sed not 2 create such stuff....,it won't get as anywere... Rbo bashes geet..., grey bashes kt.., lnmdj n geetians bash dem................deres no point...
