though i symphatise with poor girl geet yet I do not like mannet because i think it is too much sensuous with all that hype.(no offence to maneet fans).And they show every now and then shirtless scens of maan.I mean too often.
Our shanak are the innocent,cute .youngcouple whom i really like to watch.
here is my share fo shanak scene.Birthday of khanak celebrated by the shanak couple all aloner.
KHANAK'S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS
Shaan wants to celebrate khanak's birthday>he asks her when her birthday is
.She says she knows only the hindu claender month and not english.She shyly tells him the hindu calender and month much pleading from himr.
Khanak tells him that she never ever celebrated her birthday.,all that she did was to go a temple and take elders wishes., and she was very happy with that.
however dear hubby Shaan decides to make her next birthday the most memorable one so far since it is her first birthday after their marriage.
shaan rushes to dadi;s room takes the hindu month calendar and finds that the birthday is just twodays away .He is over enthusiastic to celebrate it.He thinks the entire night.
He decides to celebrate it in a secluded manner by the pool side.,on the roof top.
He makes it literally a NO ENTRY area by locking the gate to the poolside.No one was so much interested in visiting the poolside daily and so there was no problem with locking.
He consults natasha at office on the gift that ladies would like without mentioning khanak's name
.Natasha gives various ideas thinking that it is all for business client's wives or something.
Of all the ideas shaan likes the idea of pair of new fashion anklets.
Natasha wants to accompany him for the purchase.,but he refuses.He just asks for the best shopsin mumbai and leaves.
y Shaan carefully sees the anklets and chooses which appealed to him the most.He wraps it in a box with the words To my most loving wife who is the best (IN hindi and englsih)one can ever have...and stuff like that.
He has it t in his pant pocket.He had worn a nice trouser that day.
THE BIRTHDAY EVE
BDSD,ARE OFF TO A NARI NIKETHAN FUNCTION ONTHE OUTSKIRTS OF MUMBAI.THEY STARTED EARLY TO AVOID DELAY.SENIOR K AND AKSHAY ARE SETTLED IN OFFICE AND SEEMS SHAAN TOO.
Daadi had known it was khanak's birthday by seeing the calender.She wished her early in the morning..
,Khanak thanked her but asked dadi not to tell anyone including shaan about that as she was not for grand birthday celerations and all.
She was happy taking dadi's ashirwad since she is the eldest in the family.Actually khanak was feeling shy at the thought of throwing tantrums of her birthday.She had never ever done that.
Dadi wanted to tell shaan atleast but later accepts khanak's request and decides to remain silent.
She however wants to take khanak to the most famous siddhi vinayak temple praying for the happiness of shaan and khanak.Khanak agrees..
dadi gifts her a beautiful maroonsilk saree with matching earrings a simple necklace and bangles.Khanak wears that and goes to temple with dadi.She asks haribha to tell shaan about he routing with dadi as she did not want to disturb him by calling.Haribha gives a sheepish smile.
shaan tells natasha taht he has something important back home and leaves early.Natasha is left wondering what it is.
Shaan asks haribah the whereabouts of khanak and hai says that dadi had taken her to siddhi vinayak temple.Shaan is also aware nthat nobody else is at home.
Shaan knows that it would take sometime for khanak/dadi to return as the temple is crowded on all days mostly in evenings.
Shaan refreshes himself silently goes to the pool side.he takes the help of haribha and neatly arranges everything ready for the birthday celebration in simple way>he tells haribha not to tell khanak at anycost .haribha secretly smiles.
After arranging things shaan y goes back to the room.
There he sees khanak just coming back from the temple with the prasad.She was wearing a beatiful silk saree maroon colourwith simple matching accessories with very simple makeup.
Shaan stares her for a while., and requests khanak not to change dresses for the night.Khanak is left wondering why shaan is saying that.However she agrees..Khanak feels tired and wants to sleep however shaan requests her to stay awake till midnight since he has a important presentation the next day and had things to complete.He wanted someone giving a moral support.Khanak agrees.

At stroke of midnight he takes khanak to the poolside by making some excuses.there the birthday cake is allready to be cut..
.She feels embarassed but he gently hugs her wishing happy birthday and makes her cut the cake with both their hands together
.he takes out the pair of anklets and asks her to show her legs.Khanak hesitates as she does not want her husband to touch her feet.legs.
t.But alas.,shaan bends and complets the act.Khanak is overwhelmed with happy tears and hugs shaan so much so tightly that not even a hair breadth is there in between.Shaan is too happy beyond words. And g.od knows when they came back to this world.
