~Next big step for Khanak~

well said.they always stop on firdays at some interesting point,I even forgto i have to get back to work today..,but rememberrd to think what would happen next.

with ShaNak's photo, that wall would be at it's best appearance. 😆

@Veena: I agree..removing Suraj's photo would be the next big step for her. I mean..not only with Shaan's relationship and all..but I think it would mean that she's start to somehow let go of the past..and the grief that accompanies it. 🤔

As much as removing the photo of suraj would signify that Khanak is ready to move on and all that...what I believe is that she should be able to convince SHaan through that act , that she indeed not keen on dwelling on the past... u dont forget the past, u just move on. And Shaan needs to be reassured of the same...and I am more keen tow atch how Shaan will reassure himself (I do not want Khanak to go and speak..her actions should , and Shaan should feel re-assured... Actions have always, always , always spoken louder than words!! )

Where I am coming from is that , that one little gesture of Khanak moving away from him in front of Hetal ba, was a staggering hit to his new found confidence that Khanak was ready to let go and not hold him at daggers for what happened to Suraj and that once act , would have hit him hard... all maturity and friendship aside, what is the instant reaction, a act like that is to invoke ina person, who is carrying a guilt and is making an attempt to move on himself and the girl who is affected by it the most as well!

As much as we would all like Khanak to remove Suraj's picture, and show that she is willing to move to, am not sure that will happen quickly. I would be very surprised if it did. Khanak removing Suraj's picture is a huge step, and the CVs won't show it so soon.

It is not the same as Shaan removing Natasha's picture. Natasha is not his wife, she is his girlfriend/fiance who he still hopes to marry after 5 months. She also understands his situation. His whole family knows how he feels about her, including Khanak. But no one from Khanak's family knows of her existence since he removed the picture before they could see.

Suraj is not a boyfriend waiting round the corner for Khanak. He is her husband and now dead. It is a different matter removing a dead person's picture, especially by his widow. Plus, Khanak's family would think she has forgotten him if she removes the picture. Khanak would not want that. Everyone knows about Suraj,including Shaan's family.

Khanak removing Suraj's photo will happen, I think, when she really is ready to move on with Shaan, and not because she wants to teach a lesson to Hetal. With Hetal around, removing the photo will only invite more trouble for Khanak.

Just a guess...

So for me, her next big step will be to become more close to Shaan in other ways. We may get scenes we get in umpteen TV serials- Shaan coming out of the shower and accidentally bumping into Khanak, tying the dori for Khanak' blouse, tying a chain or putting on a bangle, u know... the usual stuff, which will signify to us that the two are getting closer.

I would like to see Shaan move from sofa to the bed. That should be Khanak's first step. Poor chap will get his back injured sleeping on a sofa. It looks very uncomfy!

^^ yes but the thing is, it's not just about her moving onto a newer level, she should know that it's Shaan's room. He removed his picture of Natasha and him for her comfort, the least she could do is remove Suraj's picture. If you think about it, she doesn't consider herself as his true 'wife' yet, so the room is still just 'his'. It's a matter of comfort too..a person should feel at ease in their room and if the picture is there..it would be a constant reminder to Shaan..I don't think Khanak, as a wife or a person, would want Shaan to feel uncomfortable in his own room.

It could be looked at in both ways..now that I think about it. It would just be a matter of comfort, she thinks about him in a caring way. Or it could mean that she is taking a step towards their relationship and removing Suraj's picture.

@Sareeta..well said dear...and made a similar comment on Khanak moving away from Shan..and that it really hurt him nad thus his reaction to her pulling the chair for him at dinner etc.
