khanak upset with shan/natassha pic - why so?

ok this is a q that bothered me guys.. that when khanak saw natassha and shaan's pic, she said she didn't wanna live in his room, becuzof the pictures... now my q is - why?? i mean, at this point, khanak as a character is trying to desperately hold onto her love for suraj, she is starting to see shaan in this new respectful manner and as a friend, and she is ofcourse subconsciously also attracted to him somewhat.. but she is not aware of that attraction...

Hey dear. i think it was more her discomfort. The room was originally for Shaan and Natasha after their wedding. I think she isn't upset seeing the pic. More like she feels she is intruding on what isn't 'supposed' to be hers.

When you think about it. A woman sharing a man bed in his room or for that matter even sleeping in it is very intimate. At least i think so. So for her to do what Natasha has 'hak' on makes Khanak uncomfortable. This was were Natasha and Shaan were supposed to relax after a long day and share 'sweet' moments together recalling what happened.

Instead Khanak finds herself in Shaan's bed who may be her husband, but it's only a 'title' for them. They are only friends at this point. Hope my thoughts showed you a new perspective.

Hi Sid...I think Maddy did try to make it clear on why Khanak felt as she felt....its not about jelosy..as she knows that Shana adn Natasha love each other...its about taking the place even temporarily of that person who the room was meant to be for ...the pic reminds her of her being the unwanted party ...and she not belonging to that room....Shantanu where Khanak is concerned knows what effects her...he subconciously understands her and thus removed the pic as he knew that it disturbed Khanak...to make her feel more comfortable in his room...showing her that for the time being it is hers....not his and Natasha's room...I think that was the significance of the whole scene....

Good post. I agree with all the views. Just want to add something...This scene has to be seen together with the scene before where Khanak said no one can take Suraj's place, and Shaan 's face dropped. He said almost in a reconciled tone that he knows he can never take Suraj's place. Someday, it will come out of his mouth that he wants to be where Suraj is now, but it is too soon for that yet.

Same way, Khanak felt some discomfort seeing Natasha's picture. Apart from guilt, and feeling like an intruder, there is something else. That feeling will also come out of Khanak some day... we just have to wait.

Both these scenes were meant to tell us that it's time for both Khanak and Shaan to let go of their past and accept the future. Each will wait for the other to make the first declaration I think..

Am very happy to see Khanak and Shaan openly and honestly discuss their past (Suraj)/confused present love lives (Natasha). Rare to see that in our TV serials:)

u knwo wht the best part was in this whole scene for me? well other than the baiko and hand-pull 😆 the 2nd best thign was how he SMILINGLY without even hestitating once just went and took off the pic! just liek that...! almost as if he had been waiting to do it all along.. WHICH actually he might have, as when the show started i remember his wall was empty... i think this whole room decor was changed bynatassha while he was away.. so i guess good riddance ..! 😆😆

interesting how shaan now believes that khanak doesn't want to separate shaan & natassha.. though i still want the truth of why khanak is staying here to come out soon! 😒 i want every1 (especially shaan) to be clear that khanak isn't any gold digger - she stayed becuz of a majboori...yeh majboori shaan needs to know soon.. 😒

ok another q.. 😎 hetal mangal and every1 saw shaan in KHANAK'S ROOM, and shaan called THAT room THEIR room.. so how exactly is them moving in shaan's room gonna solve th eprob - isn't it gonna make their doubts more stronger.. that these two are jumping from room to room 😆😆 i have been thinkign this all day today.. that first they say khanak's room is their.. and now move into shaan's?!🤣 gosh i just love the idea of them having alternate rooms even after they "settle down".. u know with khanak being attached to her old room 😛 and shaan loving HIS room.. it wud be hilarious if they keep fighting over which room they shud be in ! 🤣🤣
