You cannot say that the marriage has taken place against the wish of shan because shan himself says yes for the marriage and he even asks Kanak wheather she will marry him.

I think you have a point in the legality of the marriage i think his family might say to him that this marriage is not valid and that they are sure they forced him into it and they will try to talk him out of it but i dont think shaan consider this marriage unvalid ....because he was the one who agreed to it
