These dates and time has been worked out on the basis of scientific calculations on planetary position as given in valmiki ramayana.....

Date of Birth of Lord Ram:- 10th January in 5114 BC (i.e. 7117 years back) in noon

Date of exile of Shri Ram - 5th of January 5089 BC (he was 25 years old )

Solar Eclipse during war with Khardushan - Valmiki Ramayan refers to the solar eclipse at the time of war with Khardushan in later half of 13th year of Shri Ram's living in forests.7th Oct., 5077 BC

hanuman return from lanka - Hanuman's return journey from Sri Lanka to Sunaabh Hill in the middle of the sea which apparently took about four and a half hours from 6:30 AM to 11 AM ....14th Sept. 5076 BC.

The date on which Ravana was killed- 4th December 5076 BC

Thus Shri Ram had come back to Ayodhya when he was 39 years old (5114 – 5075).

but he said tht its based on scientific calculations keeping in mind the planet positions..so there must be a little validity in it 😕

u r welcome😊

as i said the dates mentioned here is based on a software named 'Planetarium Gold' (of Fogware Publishing) which is used to predict the solar/lunar eclipses and distance and location of other planets from earth by the scientists and astronomers.if u enter the relevant details about the planetary positions vis-a-vis zodiac constellations narrated by Maharishi Valmiki u will find the date as for example:-
Date of Birth of Lord Ram: Maharishi Valmiki has recorded in Bal Kaand Sarga 18 and Shloka 8 & 9 (1/18/8,9) that Shri Ram was born on 9th tithi of Chaitra month during day time when the position of different planets vis--vis zodiac constellations and nakshatras (visible stars) was as under:-
i) Sun in Aries ii) Saturn in Libra
iii) Jupiter in Cancer iv) Venus in Pisces
v) Mars in Capricorn vi) Lunar month of Chaitra
vii) Ninth day after no moon viii) Lagna as Cancer (cancer was rising in the east)
ix) Moon on the Punarvasu (Gemini constellation & Pollux star)
This data, was fed into the 'Planetarium Gold' software, the results indicated that this was exactly the location of planets/stars vis-a-vis zodiac constellations on the 10th of January noon time in the year 5114 BC if viewed from latitude/ longitude of Ayodhya (250N 810E).

the interesting thing is
1-the date find by this software gives the year gap exactly same as reffered in ramayana like return of ram is exactly ofter 14 years from date of exile

2- Valmiki Ramayan refers to the solar eclipse at the time of war with Khardushan in later half of 13th year of Shri Ram's living in forests. Valmiki has also mentioned that it was Amavasya day and planet Mars was in the middle. When this data was entered, the computer software indicated that there was a solar eclipse on 7th Oct., 5077 BC (Amavasya day) which could be seen from Panchvati (200N 730E). On that date planetary configuration was the same as has been described by Valmiki i.e. Mars was in the middle, on one side was Venus and Mercury and on the other side were Sun and Saturn.😊😊

it may be possible that the same planetary configuration is possible some lakh of year back which this software is not detecting😊

Yes, based on planetary details written in Ramayan, it is possible to come up to a date. But the following things should be kept in mind: -
1. Planetary configurations repeat. Therefore, more dates than one will match the configuration described in Ramayan.

2. At present one year means 365 or 366(leap year) days. But, in those days, 1 year meant 360 days.

3. The calendrar that we use now has gone drastic modifications. There was a time when February had more days than now. Days were cut from February and added to July and August. In one particular year, when some dates were removed from the calendar. Because of this reason, one should not try to give the exact date.

yeah u r right akhil and also the date here mentioned is based on nasa based software "Planetarium Gold" i dont hv that software. but m sure that software is based on the date and time followed acc to planetary position. in India our ancestors followed the same concept. but one more thing which should be kept in mind that the planetary configuration is a periodic motion which repeats itself after a long period (some lacks of years) so until and unless we have the software we can't determine the exact time. for time being we r assuming the dates are within one time period. i am trying to get the time period of planetary motion according to vedic mathematics and also modern scientific research. If i get i will inform in this topic and u guys can easily guess the exact time😛😛
