Part2: dahakarya samapt

Bharat and Satrughna enter the room where deadbody of Dasarath is kept, they r clsoesly followed by their mother.

They offer their last respect to him. Then with tear in their eyes and their hearts breaking down, the two sons of Dasarath, along with a broken Sumantra, broken yet calm Maharishi Vashisth and crying people of Ayodhya go to river side to perform tehlast rites for Dasarath.

They arrange the pyre, arrange the body, all the woods. Then Satrughna covers Dasarath's face. Bharat does the pradakshin act. Finally baharat does the mukhagni

After the fire extinguishes, Bharat and Satrughna follow to the river. Bharat carrying the pitcher full of ash , floats them in the river with Satrughna accompanying him, finally they offer their respect to the departed soul teareyed.

Thanx for the update- good one; today Bharat gave a good performance.

Part3: meeting of council,

Bharat refuses throne,

Bharat proposes to bring ram back, and Bharat is praised by all.

The meeting of the administrative council post maharaj Dasarath's death.

Princes Bharat and Satrughna, mothers Kaushalya, Kaikeyi, Sumitra, wives Mandavi, Shrutakirti are present. All are properly dressed. Urmilla is also there but she has not adorned herself and have abandoned all jewels.

Rishi vashist addresses all and makes the formal introductory speech. After a brief account of how much Ayodhya will miss king Dasarath he puts forward the proposal that kumar Bharat may assume the royal responsibilities bequeathed upon him. Sumatra second sit and all the council agrees. Kaushalya looks on, Sumitra looks on, only Kaikeyi has buried her face and his still crying.

Bharat rises

B: how can you propose me to accept the throne, me being the reason ram Bhaiyya in forest, father dead?

Everyone is listening with rapt attention.

B: it's my misfortune that today Ram Bhaiyya is not here. I am not entitled to sit on that throne. I am happy serving it only. How can I be the king? Only brother Ram can sit there.

Kaushalya and Sumitra proudly looks on, Kaikeyi is half crying and half relieved of the pressure of sin upon her.

Sumantra: but Ram is not here, he will return after 14 years

B: so we will go and bring him back, if all of us set out immediately, then we can all persuade him to return. We must set out now, but only if gurudev permits

Vashisht: how cannot I? its such a noble decision, Bharat you r a pride to this dynasty. Your bortehr set a great example of keeping fathers promise and you r setting even a better example by refusing power and the chance of being Rajchakraborty samrta to bring justice to the brother.

It seesm that even after the death of maharaj dasarath, no one will tell raghuvansh sun has set, it is shining all the more brightly

well he did not and i am glad that bharat could restrain satrughna. had he really punched her, then may be god knows what would have been teh consequences.

oh by the way i thought satrughna really punched her, i donot know acc to which version but their was a beating up😕so i was sort of surprised not finding it
