You know what..most of my time goes in watching the huge jewellery necklases and crowns which are worn.

Sometimes..I feel...hey...hang on.... what am I supposed to watch? So then I purposefully try to hear the dialogues and make out what's going on ...but then suddenly my mind gets into those decorative palaces, background music, heavy decorations, crowns, necklases, beautiful rings etc......It's good to know that kings and princess has enormous wealth which these serial productions are trying to portray......but isn't it distracting anyone as it does with me?

😆 I feel the same sometimes.. You have so many things to watch.. that you forget to listen. But you have to admit that the Sagars are doing a great job on the sets and the outfits

according to one interview by rupa ganguli, whoo played Draupadi, the chopras had prepared imitation jewelleries costing about 50,000 rupees

imagine that in early 90s

chopras always do things lavishly

but the sagars are doingrather a good job this time too

Spot-on Jayved
I DO think the jewellery is too distracting.
Yes ancient India was rich and prosperous and the envy of the world.. but when someone wears so much jewellry its gotta be fake! I also beleives actors performances will shine more when they don less (hehehe they'll get to spend more time learning their lines rather than sitting in the make-up room).

One good thing though, Vanvaas will happen soon, then no more jewellery YAY!

the costumes n jewellry are gorgeous but i think they over use it ie when the men are shown to be going off to fight some evils things should they be clad with jewellry? are they going there to fight o put on a fashion show????
