yeah I agree. You can easily tell that the hall with the statues is not real. But I like the attempt they are making to make it look like how it was in those times. It is more detailed. We now get to se emore of the city and it is nice. We'll just have to see and wait. I think some things like the deamons and the appearings of the (half) gods are more realistic when they use the graphics and animations

I hope the Sagars dont overuse special effects and CGI. Those outside palace shots in Raavan look so fake - rather not show them. OMG and hanuman burning Lanka in Raavan was pathetic - CGI fire!!! Isnt natural fire cheaper and better looking! I hate actors superimposed on CGI backgrounds. Pleeeeeez Sagars dont do this ever

Maybe I'm not paying attention, but I haven't really noticed much CGI in the series so far. Everything in the palace seems to be part of the set as far as I can tell.

BTW, I agree that Ravan has horrible CGI, but this seems fine to me.

Can anyone point out where the CGI is especially bad?

I totally agree with you, except for parts that they do need animation when Ram is in the sky or something like that. But not really to me it looks fake, because technology has advanced so much, that everyday they start to make it look more real!
