well it's 18 months that we all have been watchin ramayan and we all would have those sweet cute memories associated with ramayan which makes it even more special so why not share those memories with our rf members

well i have a lot of memories to share what abt u?????😊

well my first memory associated with ramayan was that i watched ramayan marathon last year in march all day long just a day before my final sst exam and studied all the night to get marks well a close shave it was i think ramji saved me😆

hmm nice thread i had been thinking on same lines actually

hmm my memory oh where to begin well like al i was also shocked and surprised to see a new ramji and didnt know who was the actor and when i came to forum found out his name

he was and is still good gurmeet but then came a turn when indrajeet came thundering and i lost my heart haha

thats what i got from ramayan and my craze for rakshas finally finding his name and now i m his biggest fan hehe

plus i learnt so many things from this place and found such good friends

so in a way ramayan has been enlightenin for me too

hahaa

its another matter sagars wanted to teach us good lessons but as rups said in another post we ended up admiring and adorin the actors here hehehahhaah

Ya we do learn a alot from Ramayan
but this Ramayan touched my soul
I am always a bi g devotee of LOrd Ram
and so I started watching Ramayan
and Ram ji here
finally turned me from Rupali to really Meera Bai ...
I am not joking as been Gurmeet ki Meera
But seriously
at times I behave like the same ...

ALong with ramayan
I learnt a lot from this RF
got so many friends like real family
I think its all our last birth lost relations that we got here
with Ramayan
The journey is awesome
Coz of GUrmeet I learnt a lot

heheheh😆 (arre Creations , updations many things not practicality bt related to work)
we all like him so much and all coz of him I came out of many many many phases
even today ...
He played Lord Ram so strongly that gives LIFE to the journey ....

Shweta, you have started a wonderful topic! Each of us have great memories of this show and the actors!
I started searching for Ramanyan show info and ended up at this site! I have been addicted to it ever since then😆 The show was great, but with Gurmeet's entry as Ramji, it got greater! I got hooked completely. Gurmeet has done wonderful justice to his role as Ramji and pulled all audience, from young and old alike, to his corner and all of us have fallen in love with him, with the exception of the guys, hehee!😊The guys probably admire him, not fallen in love with him😆

When the Rakshasa clan appeared, I found humor and we all had a blast at the club with Ravan and Indrajeet and KK uncle!

This Ramayan journey is one that I will never forget. Like Rupali said, we have made many friends and learned to do so many creative things! We have disagreed many times on different concepts, but we have agreed more and enjoyed every bit of this show even with some fairy tale stuff thrown in by the Sagars😆

I will quote Romeo and Juliet here, "parting is such sweet sorrow", but hopefully we will remain friends through other means, PMs and emails!😊 Thanks everyone for this beautiful experience!

Still posting from my vacation guys. I am unable to keep away from Ramayan and rf even on vacation.

I never knew about Ramayan until I was flipping channels to find something good to watch one night in March. While doing that I flipped past the International channels i have on my TV and at that exact moment, when I came to the Tamil channel Sun TV, they had a commercial that said Ramayan will start soon. At first I thought they are having a re-run of the old Ramayan. Looking at the commercial it did not look like Arun Govil. I called my mom in India and she didn't have a clue. So I googled and found that NDTV Imagine had this new Ramayan going.

I was so excited and then I found a website that had all the episodes in the Hindi version that I had missed. Man, was I hooked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was living, breathing, and thinking Ramayan from that time. Gurmeet acting as Ramji was like soma. U couldn't get enough.

I called my mother in India and asked her to see it too. Watching this Ramayan made her illness easier to endure. Then I found the RF forum but remained a Bhootni until December because I wasn't sure if older members were allowed. Finally I got the courage to post and I am glad that I did. I have made so many friends and all of you became my second family. I am really very sad that this Ramayan is ending. My head tells me that Ramayan cannot go on forever but my heart tells me Naaaaaahhhhhhhhhiiiiiiiiii... 😭

Anyway, the International NDTV Ramayan has just started showing Ramayan in the US and Ramji has just began his vanvas. The Tamil Ramayan is also going on. But I am very sad all the same...the more Ramji cries, the more I cry. 😭

man today episode was too touching i cudnt control my crying at all

firsr of all Rf is the first forum i ever joinedi am a Rambakth since childhood and iwas very interested in ramayan and started collecting pictures, ebooks, stories etc. when my brother told me that brand new ramayan is going to be shown in imagine i was very much excited .when i watched the promo i was shocked seeing the actor playing ramji because we have already seen him in mayavi in a negative role. i never felt like its a show because i was seeing real ramji in him. i tried hard to found out his name and i joined Rf. from the begining i was not a very active member coz i was preparing for my board exams.when i came to RF i discovered a new world with people jusst like me. rambakths who really become my bhaiyas and didis. i learned a lot in this forum .many stories which i didn't hear before.i really haVE A NICE TIME IN THIS FORUM I WILL MISS ALL OF U.even after ramayan ends our RF family will last forever.
