Bharat may be the yuvraj. But he, Mandavi & Kaikeyi are in a vanvas of their own. Haven't you noticed them disappear since the last few episodes? (Incidentally, in the original Valmiki, when Rama goes out to hunt for Shambhuka, he leaves Lakshman, rather than Bharat, in charge, even though the latter is Yuvraj. Go figure.)

Yeah, Durvasa had a short fuse, but that he had against those who wittingly or unwittingly offended him. He was a vile rishi, but he didn't do that to people who came to him for support.

I agree w/ you on the chariot issue. What's it - after the Lanka war where the bulk of his fighting was on foot, Rama has decided to be a foot soldier instead of a chariot warrior? Also, if he accepts that Kashi-naresh may be in swarga or pataal, what's the point of walking?

Yep, a new actress for Anjana. So far, the following have changed - Vishwamitra, who now has a blacker beard and is demoted to rajarshi 😆😆😆(this time it's me insulting the Vishy meister - wonder whether Rama will come for me 😆😆😆: at least I know whom not to approach), Sunayna, Shrutakirti, and now Anjana.

In the original story shown in the serial Bajrangbali, Anjana had no issues protecting him, and he didn't tell her that he wanted protection from Rama - he told Hanuman that. Also, the offense happened in Vashishta's ashram, not Rama's court, so neither Hanuman nor Rama were familiar w/ how he looked, and Hanuman had no idea that Rama was hunting for anybody. He just happened to be randomly summoned by Anjana, saw this ruler Shakuntan seeking refuge w/ her, accepted her command to protect him, and then found out that it was Rama he wanted protection from. There was no Anjana beating him w/ a stick, or Hanuman threatening to reveal his whereabouts to Rama - nothing of that sort.

That was Akhl's question above - why take that oath, and make it more difficult to fulfill it? Just take a chariot, go after him and do it.

On the change by Anjana - I think the original Anjana, being from Kishkindha, decided to go to Johanesburg and root for the Bangalore Royal Challengers in today's IPL Semi-Finals.

I would have had a solution to Rama's predicament when he faced Hanuman. Since his very name is so sacred that his weapons are powerless against it, he should first work towards undermining that name, so that he can penetrate it. This can be easily done, even for one as sacred and sinless as him. First, commit a number of sins - brahmhatya, strihatya, break your pativrata vow, send your mothers to Valmiki's ashram to join Sita, start tormenting citizens of Ayodhya at random for sadistic pleasure and attribute that to vidhi ka vidhan, make everybody in Ayodhya hate and resent you, exile your remaining brothers, and their wives, send the nephews on life-threatening military expeditions - everything that will cause the great Raam-naam to be sullied.

Then, when Hanuman makes a wall w/ Rama written all over it, it will shatter easily, and your vow to the Vishy-meister will be easily fulfilled.

Just a thought. Too bad Rama didn't have me as his chief adviser on such matters😈
