Also, another trivia (not so trivial if one happens to be walking barefoot in the forests) is - why did Bharat, who wept at Rama having to sleep on the ground, make Rama walk barefoot, which would surely have been more uncomfortable? He should have taken his padukas and given him substitute footwear. Also Sita - why did she have to be barefoot when going into exile? Didn't women wear footwear in those days? In the serial, all women are shown wearing footwear - Mandodari, Anjani, even the 3 rajmatas. Or was it that there was nothing rugged that would withstand 14 years of wear? What is shown is the opposite of what's normal - one could walk barefoot in the comfy palace, but one would definitely need padukas or something if one was going into exile. All 3 of them should have worn that, with Rama taking an extra pair to give Bharat.

I do hope they show them wearing fine shoes. In the previous Uttar Ramayan, everybody, except Vaishistha & Valmiki, were shown barefoot.

I hope they don't do what they did in the previous serial - Lakshman greeting Mandavi, and then snubbing Urmila, and then getting a dressing down from Sita. That was a needlessly ugly twist not there in the original. I'm instead hoping for an emotional re-union between the 2, minus any awkward moments.
