Rajnish ji, that was an awesome update. I couldn't watch the episode fully last night. I'm looking forward to watching it. But after reading your update, I felt as though I watched the episode fully.

hi rajnish very nice update
the song in flashback and all showed full emotions of everyone
i loved ravan dialogues truly
he knows inside he is defeated but he wants to go with a grace befitting a brave warrior
if i forget rest of warriors i think both ravan and indrajeet were very brave and die a hero's death
just like ppl wud take ram ravan name together so wud they take laksman indrajeet name together
and our heroine dhanyamalini was shown briefly making somebody truly flip
chandra did u flip ur hair like our hero eh
the flashback scenes were terrific honestly

😭😭😭I actually felt real sad listening to Kaushalya lament the fate of women. But just wondering - why'd they show her having a bad feeling about what was to come and happen to dear Sita?😭😭😭

😕😕😕Also, any of you thought that they were projecting the thoughts of today's women onto Kaushalya? As someone in the treta yuga, is it likely that she would regret a young woman moving into another home as a result of getting married?😕😕😕

I did not watch the episode. Thanks to Rajnish that I got to know what was shown.
I agree with Chandraketu. Kaushalya's lamentation shows that Sagars are projecting the thoughts of some of present day women upon Kaushalya. So much of creativity is not good because it goes contradictory to the time in which the story is set. It is a kind of anachronism.

It was a beautifull episode............loved every part of it. The song, the emotions were just amazing.
I don't know if they are projecting thoughts of present day woman on kaushalaya or not but I remeber even sitaji questioned about certain things before her marriage. I think it may be possible that in treta yug most women didn't voice out their opinions and here the sagars have shown women talking about it. Now I could be totally wrong about it as I am not as knowledgable about this epic as all of u in the forum, so please correct me. This way I would actually learn something from you people.

I agree; Kaushalya's lament was sad and well done by the actress, but the essence of her words was a little too much like today's women.😕 I think it is because the Sagars are trying to draw in the younger generation or something, which is not wrong, but I personally felt they went a little too far this time.

No, the women in treta yuga were as much independant in their thoughts and action as a modern woman,
It is evident in Ramayana of Valmiki specially in conversations between Sita and Kaushalya (Ayodhya kaand) and in conversation between Anusuya and Sita (Aranyakaand) were both Kaushalya and Anusuya are instructing wifely duties to Sita; they make a referance against such women who left their husbands if they (husbands) were not rich any more or if they coudn't afford extravaganza for their family(that means a woman could choose to separate herself or even divorce her husband) ; Anusuya even says to sita that a wife should be devoted to a husband even if he is a drunkard 🤢.
From those verses we can ascertain that Women in that era highly independant in their decisions also they were educated and knew the shastras and abided to dharma.
Valmiki's portrayal of Sita will put to shame a modern woman; Sita was very eloquent , patient and a knowledgeable woman .
Also the laws were pro women i.e they were made to protect to interest of women, ofcourse some of them were grossly misunderstood, misinterpreted, thas a different discussion....
