In South India, naming ceremonies are usually done two weeks after the baby is born, so maybe the Sagars want to play with that idea or something😕.

At least a change in hairstyle will do for Lavanasur.

Besides, I think, in Valmiki Ramayan it was mentioned that Ram and his brothers were named when they were 12 days old.

I haven't watched the past 3 episodes. I'll catch up this weekend.

Nice songs today!! Was expecting to see Shri Rama's cosmic form but😭😭😭 disappointed😭 The birth of Kush-Lav on Ram-navami was shown so hurriedly😲😲 but ofcourse, the babies were very cute😊 but what fate!!😭 they never get the love of their mother and father, together, at one time😭

Lavanasur's life prolonged 😲 , Why such a major shuffling of incidents?

Great episode today again, acting wise. (March 3rd Ram 2009 Navami special). I just love to see Gurmi as Vishnuji and we got a treat today. His acting and the acting of others was great as usual.

Vishnu himself is the assumed form of the Supreme Being ParaBrahman/Parabrahmam. This is how it says in Srimad Bhagavatam.

1. ParaBrahman/Parabrahmam, (do not confuse Brahman with Brahma or Brahmin) the formless, timeless, and all-prevading Nirgun Brahman takes the form of Virat roop (the Vishva Roop form that Sita shows Ravan). Then the Virat Roop form takes the form of Vishnuji. The Supreme Being/Nirgun Brahman takes the form of Vishnuji because most humans cannot comprehend the formless, timeless, and all prevading Nirguna Brahman. Ramji is only 1/2 the power of Vishuji come down.

Chandra, u r correct. The Sagars are back to Kekta style Sagarayan. 😆😆😆 I just love seeing Gurmi Bhaiya as Vishnuji and I enjoyed the episode because of that.

What is this about Gurmi acting in a Subash Ghai movie? Which movie is this?

Gurmeet acted in a movie "cycle kick" produced by Subhash ghai. It was released in the year 2007 , I think...🤔

Nothing. The Saas Bahu and Betiyaan of Aaj Tak mentioned something. Were they talking about this old movie? 😕 I am waiting to see Gurmi in a Hindi remake of Mayavi and in (hopefully to be made soon) Mahabharat as Krishna.😆😆😆

Well if Sagars are making MBH, then .....looking at the way they're fictionalizing Uttarkand, do you want them to make MBH?? 😲 No!!

But, Gurmeet as Krishna , YES!!😊 just hope that some good production house makes MBH...

They can't even handle an epic that spans just 2 generations. With MB, they'd be expected to handle an epic that starts from Bheeshma, and ends with Yudhisthir's entry into swarga-lok, thereby spanning 4 generations. Of course, it's been done badly by everyone who has done it so far - be it BRC, Kekta or Peter Brooke. I don't think I can take another badly done MB.

One thing I like about the current Ramayan is the Uttarkand being a part of it, but like Akhl said, I hate the way the Uttarkand has been made in such an unprofessional manner.

Yeah, I don't know what happened to the Sagars when they hit Uttarkhand. If they had completely deleted the Lavanasur episode and just stuck with the main story, that is okay. But show the main story of Ram, Sita, Lav, and Kush properly and logically. The writers and editors r not doing their job with Uttarkhand at Sagars. 😡
BRC MBH was not bad but Kekta's was awful (sorry to the people who liked her show). MBH spans 4 generation with so many side stories. It needs a good writer and editor who will trim all the surplus stories and just stick to the main story with the relevant side stories. For that they need to take the advice of a MBH expert to keep this abridged version logical. Also, the costumes and the sets have to be authentic ancient India instead of some new age Greek inspired bad costumes.
No matter what, Gurmi as Krishna will be out of this world good. 👏👏👏

^^^ Yeah you are right it is like no one bothered to read the Uttarkand and they are just guessing their way through the story. What happened to Mathura some king Ram is shown as forgotten all about that not very responsible. I think like someone mentioned Vaikunt was empty I dont think Vishnu and Lakshmi were up there that is why Ram was asked to come back. Hmmmmm

Ok Mahabarth I would love to see that remade again but oh god but I wish someone would take our epics seriously. I was so young when I saw BRC version cant even remember it anymore.

U guys at least can guess in Ramayan what is wrong said or .....

Whereas me, I learnRamayan thru NDTV & if they say smtg wrong, I will trust it becoz I just know the basic idea of Ramayan as I am just 15 years old !!!

And Guys correct me if i am wrong, I thought to my mind that Ramji=Vishnuji & Sita maaequals to Lakshmi but right now, I am confused 😕!!

It's so disturbing 😡! Is it true that Vishnuji came to announce the birth of Lav & Kush to Sita maa 😕😕😕????? Becoz i thought that Sita maa was just Lakshmi devi even she is an avtar !!!

It's just stupid 😕! It's like Vishnuji coming to see Ramji !!😕😕

I can't imagine it becoz 4 me the 2 persons form only 1 !!!!!!!

Anyway, Gurmeet's acting was superb but I understood nothing to Ramayan yesterday !!😕
