Rupalip: Thanks Sita for the update ....
and no doubt Hero of the show was Praphulla Pandey ...
He was fab yesterday with all senti dialogues...
I agree with Indrajeet completely How Vibhishan cld be so selfish ?
I really hate vibhishan a lot the way he is helping ....
He is helping Laxman ko kill his own nephew...
very cheat .....
Mallika Di: Indrajeet's anger was definitely justified towards Vibhishan!! Praphulla's performance expressing this emotion was too brilliant! It proves that he really went in to the character's persona to reflect it so well. He must have been exhausted after that scene. He did say that during his chat with us!
Dear Rupali and Mallika Di,
I agree with both of you that Praphulla Pandey is a brilliant actor and reflects the personality of Indrajit correctly. Most of us here are big fans of him, but our obsession with Praphulla must not come in the way of our judgment of Vibhishanji. Rupali, Vibhishan was not selfish at all. He never once thought of himself when he joined Shri Ram's army, and he told everything to Shri Ram only so that Shri Ram could uphold Dharma in the world. He was not thinking of himself as being the king of Lanka once his brother died. It was Shri Ram who proclaimed him King. When it comes to killing Adharmis, relationships do not count, and one must do everything to make sure that Dharma, and Dharma only, wins in the end. Even Kaikasi, Vibhishanji's mother, and his maternal grandfather told him to join Shri Ram for the sake of Lanka's future. He joined on the advice of those greater and more knowledgeable than him. Isn't one's mother's advice said to be the ultimate advice? And Ravan himself kicked Vibhishan out of his court and kingdom saying that if Vibhishan was seen anywhere in Lanka ever again, he would be given the death sentence. Vibhishan going into exile would not have done Lanka and its praja any good, so he joined Shri Ram, the ultimate salvation for mankind, and helped him bring righteousness once again to the world. Ravan had to be killed, because he was an Adharmi, and anyone who followed him had to be killed, because they were supporting Adharma, and that included Indrajit and Kumbhakarn.
And Mallika Di, Indrajit's anger towards Vibhishan may have been justified on an emotional scale, since Vibhishan was Indrajit's Uncle, but if you look at it this way, was Indrajit ever a dutiful nephew to Vibhishan? Whenever Vibhishan gave Ravan advice to return Sita Mata to Shri Ram, Indrajit always insulted him saying Vibhishan was a softie and an insult to Rakshas Power.
On a scale of Dharma vs. Adharma, Indrajit's anger towards Vibhishan was not justified, because one does not spend one's life only based on family life. If a family member is going on the wrong path, and if no advice works, others means must be taken to uphold justice, even if it means going against family.
Praphulla Panday is a very great actor, and as I wrote above, he did full justice to Indrajit's role, and that included showing the "good side" of Indrajit. He made us feel sympathetic towards Indrajit, and he correctly conveyed all of Indrajit's feelings/emotions. I really appreciate his hard work a lot, and I hope he will have the best of luck in the future.⭐️
But.....our fondness of Praphulla Panday, and our sadness of his role as Indrajit ending soon should not fog our mind about Vibhishanji.😳 Vibhishanji was a great person, and one of Shri Ram's many devotees, and Indrajit was a great warrior who died a true warrior's death. Indrajit attained his own victory at his death, and that is his name written down in history as one of the greatest warriors who died fighting for what he believed right. Vibhishan joined Shri Ram to uphold Dharma, so nothing can be said against him either.
One more thing to consider: If Shri Ram had considered Vibhishan joining him as "selfish" or "adharma", would he have accepted Vibhishan with open arms? Would he have accepted Vibhishan's "secrets about Lanka"? No. Shri Ram would have told Vibhishan that joining him was not right, and to either go on an exile since Ravan kicked him out, or seek the help of someone else.
But he did not. He welcomed Vibhishan, and promised to make him the King of Lanka. That means that Shri Ram did not consider Vibhishan's cause to be Adharma, since Vibhishan was only doing his duty.
And.......😳😳😳Sorry for inflicting such a long post on all of you. I'll try not to do that again😆, but Vibhishan is one of my favorite characters, and I feel he is often misunderstood by many people.
Indrajit was no doubt a great mahaveer, but he was on Ravan's side, so had to die.
One last thing: Guys, no one respond to Sharath Rocha anymore. That guy is clearly looking for attention, and Sita11 is right. I doubt he is a Hindu if he feels right to talk so badly about our Gods. So leave him to his own misery. Before long, he'll go bug another forum.😉
