Laxman goes and faces Atikay now. He challenges him and atikaya's follower daruk comes first. He taunts Laxman by calling him kid and they start to fight. With one arrow beheads him. The head falls in front of the wheels of atikaya's chariot. Laxman says that this is his first gift for Atikay.

Laxman come and faces atikaya. First the two have a small war of words ans the real fight begins then.

On the other hand devantak and akampan fights with hanuman and Angad. Hanuman finishes devantak soon.

On hearing this news Bibhisan laments and feels he should curse himself for not trying his best but instead coming and joining ram. Ram tries to console him.

Finally Ram says : it is inevitable that Ravan an all his assistants will be destroyed, you are just a cause, do not take your self to blame yourself. The destiny will be fulfilled.

Dhanmalini is praying and Mandodary and ravan enters the temple too. they both performs namasker.

Ravan asks Dhanmalini that she normally does her prayer in dawn, why is she doing her puja so late.

Dhanmalini says its to pray for the protection of her son.

Ravan says , her son is a super warrior with incredible strength and courage. By praying for his life, she is humiliating her son.

Dhanmalini : but a mother never embarrasses or humiliates her son my king. If her ego clashes with her sons, she gives up he ego for her son.

Ravan takes it in another way and says: do u mean to say that I swnt Atikaya to war to boost my ego?

Dhanmalini looks at Mandodary, terrified. Madodary tries to control ravan by saying he is making the atmosphere of the palace unnecessarily tense.

R: I am tensed, the whole lanka is turbulent, how can the palace ezcape it?

D: but why is lanka so turbulent today?

Mandodary is embarrassed now, the question she had asked long before seems to echo in every ladies mouth whose dear beloved r in the battle field, dead or soon to be dead.

However she tries to pull dhanmalini away, but dhanmalini persists with her question and says she will not leave the temple unless and until her son returns safe and sound.

Now ravan bursts oout. He says: you r humiliating me, queen. You r putting a question on the capabilities of that lankesh who has won from death, won million of wars.

He angrily steps out.
