Hi again! This forum is somthing. I would like to post a rejoinder to Mallika113's post that good will always win over evil.
It is not so. Our old legends of Devasur Sangram has important message for us. Good may not win if it does not try hard enough. Does through planning and goes through the rigors of training. The Ramayan may be seen as a continuation of the same old conflict of Dev & Asur. Ram underwent the rigors with Vakshishatha, Vishwamitra and numerous other warlike Rikshi and finally Agastya who accompanied Ram to the battle field and worked as chief of Medical Core. Mahrkshi Agastya was one of the main war advisers of Ram.
Our stories are not simple stories like the Greek or Roman legends. They have been so packed with subtle nuances of basics of human psychology, tendencies and their normal course of development. If one can decipher the imagery code of these stories one can certainly learn a lot of the present problems and possibly could contribute to get possible solutions also.
