hey guys!!!! i hav few questions.....

1. lakshmanji got a boon from nindra devi that he wont sleep for 14 years so that he can guard ramji and sitaji at night while they r sleeping... then how come wen ahi and mahi came to kidnap them lakshmanji was sleeping ??????

2.ac. to the story magardhwaj was born wen hanumanji was flying back from burning ayodhya... but it was only a short time back then how came magardhwaj grew so big in such a smalll time ????

plz... answer my queries...

yup he has the vardaan...

but they never took any undue advantage of any Vardaan....they always in there Maryada...

spl. he sleeps after he checked Ram bhaiya has already sleep...

secondly... when hanumanji tail has covered alll the tent... what a need of panic.... he can go for sleep....

after alll its a kind of tiresome so if he got some time to sleep.... then he should.... it literary means that he don't want to use those Vardaan for non reason...

that is what all i think about this..

regarding second querry tht has already been answered in some update or Hanumanji discussion thread...

i'll fwd the link... of that as i could not recall it ....

but i think sita has posted that..

lakshman's boon is not mentioned in Valmiki Ramayan. Even in one place in Ayodhya kand there is mention of Ram asking Lakshaman to wake up. But Lakshman used to sleep very less. He use to sleep after his Bhaiyai-Bhabhi.

Ahi Mahi n Makardhawj r not mentioned in Valmiki Ramayan so Can ans ur ques

I think Lakshman's boon was mentioned in Adhyatma Ramayana, but I'm not sure. Basically, it says that Lakshman gave all of his sleep for the 14 years to Urmila, and Urmila used Lakshman's sleep to go to sleep in the mornings, and her own sleep to sleep at night. This was so that she would not suffer separation from her husband, and would sleep straight all 14 years (day and night) so that when she woke up, the exile would be over and her husband would be coming home.

As for your first question, the Sagars are following Valmiki Ramayan, and since this story isn't in there, that's probably why they didn't use it. I think it depends on which Ramayan you follow.

As for your second question, I really don't know, but I heard divine children and rakshasa children grew into adults in a day, so that might be why.
