You're welcome! Glad you like it!⭐️
The Treta Yuga is the 2nd of 4 Yugas. The first being Satya Yuga (age of truth and Dharma), the second being Treta Yuga (age of sacrifice), third being Dwapara Yuga (age of worship), and finally the fourth and last being the Kali Yuga (age of alms). In our Hindu religion, these four yugas make a Maha Yuga, and the world is created, destroyed, and re-created every Maha Yuga. All four yugas together make 4,320,000 years, so the world is created, destroyed, and recreated by the Supreme Lord every 4,320,000 years.
Shri Rama was born towards the end of the Treta Yuga and Shri Krishna was born towards the end of the Dwapara Yuga. Towards the end of the Kali Yuga (which we are living in right now), Kalki, the 10th and final incarnation of Lord Vishnu will be born, and will destroy the world when it is at its peak of sin.
A complete yuga cycle from a high Golden Age of enlightenment to a Dark Age and back again is said to be caused by the solar system's motion around a central sun. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yuga)
Satya Yuga or Krita Yuga - 1,728,000 years Treta Yuga - 1,296,000 years Dvapara Yuga - 864,000 years
  1. Kali Yuga - 432,000 years

These numbers are the number of years each yuga lasts.

Actually, I recommend that you read the article on yugas in wikipedia. I think you would understand it more, and it's also enjoyable to read.😊

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yuga

Here's a pie chart on the 4 yuga cycle.

Here's an article on the life of Lord Brahma relating to the Yugas. It's very interesting.

Winter (Kali Yuga):* 432,000 years

* The year 1998 is 5,090 years from the beginning of Kali Yuga of the long cycle. For the short cycle, winter is ending with the entrance of the planetary axis into Aquarius, which begins the season of Spring for the shorter, 24,000 year cycle.

Spring: (Treta Yuga) 1,296,000 years

Summer (Satya or Krita Yuga) 1,728,000 years

Autumn (Dwapara Yuga) 864,000 years

Total Time for One Cycle or Manvantara: 4,320,000 years

This is called "A Day of Brahma" and is followed by a night of equal length.

One complete day and night of Brahma: 8,640,000,000 years

360 of these days is called "One Year of Brahma": 3,110,400,000,000 years

100 of these years constitute the life of Brahma called a Maha Kalpa: 311,040,000,000,000 years

So now the controversy is that the dates given astronomically don't match with what our puranas gave regarding the length of the 4 Yugas. According to our scriptures, Lord Rama had to be born at least 1,000,000 years ago, but the article I posted said he was born only 10,000 years ago. That's a large difference, so that's why I had a hard time believing it. But I'm not saying it's wrong either. I was just confused...

Lord Vishnu always incarnated himself in the end of each Yuga. He was Shri Rama in the end of the Treta Yuga, and Shri Krishna in the end of the Dwapara Yuga. In the end of the Kali Yuga, he will be Kalki, and this is his last avatar. I am sorry to say that we are only in the beginning of Kali Yuga, because the evil we are witnessing in the world right now will be nothing compared to how this world will be in the end of the Kali Yuga. This Forum itself is an example. We all are Lord Ram devotees, and we respect and cherish the Ramayana. Lord Kalki cannot come yet, because there are still many devotees, and puranas like Ramayana and Mahabharata are still revered. There is still bhakti in the world, though it is very less compared to how it was during the other yugas. In the end of the Kali Yuga, man will be money-obsessed, crimes will be common and called right, and our puranas and scriptures will be gone. No one will care about them, and the world will be 99.99% atheists. That's when Kalki will come: to teach humans a lesson, destroy the world, and create it anew, in which it will start off with the good age of Satya Yuga again.
Here is what wikipedia has shown about when Kalki will come...

The Padma Purana relates that Lord Kalki will end the age of Kali and will kill all the wicked mlecchas and, thus, destroy the bad condition of the world. He will gather all of the distinguished brahmanas and will propound the highest truth. He will know all the ways of life that have perished and will remove the prolonged hunger of the genuine brahmanas and the pious. He will be the only ruler of the world that cannot be controlled, and will be the banner of victory and adorable to the world. (6.71.279-282)

The Srimad-Bhagavatam states, "At the end of Kali Yuga, when there exist no topics on the subject of God, even at the residences of so-called saints and respectable gentlemen of the three higher castes, and when the power of government is transferred to the hands of ministers elected from the lowborn shudra class or those less than them, and when nothing is known of the techniques of sacrifice, even by word, at that time the Lord will appear as the supreme chastiser. (2.7.38) It further describes Lord Kalki's activities as follows: "Lord Kalki, the Lord of the universe, will mount His swift white horse Devadatta and, sword in hand, travel over the earth exhibiting His eight mystic opulences and eight special qualities of Godhead. Displaying His unequaled effulgence and riding with great speed, He will kill by the millions those thieves who have dared dress as kings." (12.2.19-20)

In the Bhagavatha Purana, it says that Kalki will be born to the only religious family left on Earth, two brahmin parents living in the city of Shambhula. After Kalki reaches an educational age, he will seek out Lord Parashuram, who is now meditating in the Himalayas. Lord Parashuram will be the guru of Kalki, and after Kalki finishes his education, he will set about destroying the world, killing all those wicked minded people who are corrupted by power, money, and arrogance.
Kalki will not be like any of the other avataras, because his sole purpose is to destroy the world and create it anew, while all the other avatars had specific people they had to kill. Kalki is called the Maha Avatara, because it is the 10th and final Avatar of Lord Vishnu.

Here is a paragraph about Lord Parashuram from wikipedia.

Parashurama, a Brahman (Sanskrit: ???????) or Parasurama (Axe-wielding Rama), the sixth avatar of Vishnu, belongs to the Treta yuga, and is the son of Jamadagni and Renuka. Parashu means axe, hence his name literally means Rama-with-the-axe. He received an axe after undertaking a terrible penance to please Shiva, from whom he learned the methods of warfare and other skills. He fought the advancing ocean back thus saving the lands of Konkan and Malabar (Maharashtra - Karnataka - Kerala coastline). The coastal area of Kerala state along with the Konkan region, i.e., coastal Maharashtra and Karnataka, is known as Parashurama Kshetra (Parashurama's area). Some say it extends all the way to Mumbai in Maharashtra. Parashurama is said to be a "Brahma-Kshatriya" (of the duty between a Brahmana and a Kshatriya), the first warrior saint and a descendant of the Brahmarshi Vishvamitra.

Yes, Parashuram is in the Himalayas right now meditating, but most likely, we cannot see him that easily, because he is an avatar of Lord Vishnu.
I'm glad you like our religion! I do too. It's truly great!😃

PS (I too very strongly believe the Ramayan and Mahabharat, and every other purana in our religion happened, by the way.
Cheers!)
