A word for Lakshmana

many ppl doesnt agree with the words sitaji spoke to lakshmana at panchvati There is no doubt that the accusations that she levelled against him that day burns the heart and made even Lakshmana to react strongly
Words tht were uttered in anger no doubt. But then, who is not guilty of that sin? Who can be exempted..., 'The words uttered in anger give a clue to the mind, for they slip off when the mind is off-guard.' That may be true in stray instances. But it cannot be the general rule and the guiding factor, always. Not certainly in the case of Sita and Lakshmana.
On the contrary, the better thing is to trust the words of the mind when it is calm relatively; when quietude of comparative terms rule over it.
wen hanumana came for the search for sitaji and asked her for the mssg look wht message she had for Lakshmana...sita said convey my message to lakshmana "'Lakshmana, it is your duty to come to my rescue.' There are no ifs and buts and the all-knowing, yet teasing 'even ifs' are totally absent here. '.' Realise that 'it is my duty to rush to her rescue, for I was the one who was protecting her under the orders of Rama.'You were the one who were standing guard at the behest of Rama, before I sent you in search of him. 'idai kOththu vem sirai vIdu.' You, my guard, my protector owe a duty to me to come to my rescue and take me out of this prison.
"Rama owes a duty to himself and therefore he has to reach here. Lakshmana has the order of Rama to guard me and therefore he owes me a duty to come to my rescue. No. Not simply because of that. There is something else that demands him to do this. He is my son. He owes a duty to his mother. Listen to her."
Also let him know, Hanuman. I won't live a minute more than a month from now. Make this known to Lakshmana in particular..' My penance would come to an end in a period of a month.' if he does not turn up here within that time, ',' let him not come here at all. Let him go to the banks of the Ganges. 'Let him perform my last rites there in the banks of Ganges, with his palms of the colour of lotus petals.
If they do not come within the specified time limit, let them go back to Ayodhya and let Lakshmana perform my last rites in the banks of Ganges, for I would not be living any more.
That speaks volumes of the love that she has for Lakshmana as their own child. Who else can perform the last rites, but the son? there was no request in her words ...only the authority tht she has over lakshmana the undying and pure love tht she has for lakshmana tht she wants him to perform her last rites...👏

brilliant to say the least ⭐️

Lord Laxman's Welcome to Hanumaan ji...

After succses of "Ashwamedh Yagna " entire world was captured by Lord Rama & his brothers. Lord assign all his brothers different provinces to take care off. Laxman was appointed the as King of the province named as "Laxman Pur" now known as "Lucknow"capital city of Uttar Pradesh in India.
Once Lord Rama send Hanumaanji to see Laxman,it was a confidential visit,Laxman was given a hint of it.Month of "Jyeshtha(May-June)" & day of "Mangal (Tuesday)".
Lord Laxman decorated the entire Kingdom,as it was not certain that by which way Hanumaan ji may come,he did it on all the four Tuesday. He put water stalls along with sweets & Laddoos through out in the Kingdom,as Jyeshtha is the hottest month. To prevent Hanumaan ji from heatwave he erected Heat shelter along with shady trees in the kingdom..Hanumaan ji arrived on the last Tuesday of the month & surprised as well as elated to see the arrangements. After eating & enjoying the beauty of the City,he met Laxman ji, blessed the kingdom with boons.
Since then we in LUCKNOW,take the priviledge to mark the occaision by distributing the sweets,Laddoos along with various soft & cool drinks. It is considered a great "Punya" to dispense water & food on all four Tuesday. We celebrate the occaision as " Barah Mangal".

Laxman's dilemma

After Ravana was killed, Ram, and Laxman were talking of all that had happened and taking stock of the situation.
Ram: said to Laxman "I am very displeased with you. You disobeyed me. I did not expect this from you."

Laxman to Ram: "What did I do? What are you talking about? I cannot imagine disobeying you even in my dreams."

Ram: "I had specifically told you to take care of Sita and not to leave her alone even for a moment, did I not? But you betrayed my trust and see what happened. Sita had to go through a lot, see what we all went through. Brother Jatayu was killed trying to save Sita. There was destruction on both sides. It is sad that so many people lost their lives. If you had obeyed me, none of this would have happened. I am not happy with you."

Laxman: "I was in dharma sankat. I had two orders to follow. One from you and another from Ma Sita. You ordered me not to leave Ma Sita and Ma Sita ordered me to go and save you. Both orders were contradictory. There was no way I could follow both. If I obey you, I disobey Ma Sita and if I obey her, I disobey you. I was in a real dilemma. Then I thought that in our shastras (scriptures), mother comes first. You will forgive me for this, but no body says RamSita, people say SitaRam. Mother first. 'Matru devo bhava' first and then 'Pitru devo bhava'. Parents are called 'matpita' and not 'pitamata'. Here too mother comes first and I consider Sita my mother. Her order came first by virtue of her being my mother. So I obeyed her against my wishes, even at the cost of bringing upon myself your wrath..."

^ i have read that it was Lakshman who was guilt ridden and considered himelf to be responsible for sita's abduction but ramji made him realised that he did nothing wrong.

Yes they are varying...😕
Though they said Lakshman cried as a child and kept calm when placed near Ram...some other version says it was Ram who cried and calmed down when placed near Lakshman!😕
