I am back...

I can give the answer why 14yrs...

I read it somewhere...it says manthara advised Kaikeyi to wish for 14yrs exile...coz...

General theory:

Any person gets adapted to a place where he lives completely and becomes a native of that place in 14yrs of time period!(minimum of 14yrs is required)

Means eg. if you are a Kashmiri and drink the water of Kerala i.e for 14yrs you get adapted to that place you behave like that and can't leave it that easily...

Hence Manty evil plan...If ram stays for 14yrs in forest he will get adapted in forest and become a jungle boy...will not wish to leave that place...so Bharat's kingly position will be safe...

i.e the significance of 14yrs...😳

oh boy tht can be thanks a lot for sharing👏👏👏...i found in google ...it said manthy plotted 14 years exile coz she knew the customary law at tht time it said if any person whom the property is entrusted or the care taker of the property becomes the owner of the property if the owner is lost... he is dead or he doesnt claim the property for 12 years manthy thought by sending lord rama to exile he cant claim his titleship for 12 years so bharat will become the king of ayodhya by the law prevalent at tht time secondly the forest were filled with demons and devils she thought by doing so lord rama will be killed by demons thirdly as neilu said this period was enough to erase the memory of lord rama ...

in krittivassi ramayana its mentioned tht one who starves observes celibacy and doesnt sleeps for 14 years will be be able to slay meghnand and lakshman didnt eat or slept for 14 years maybe tht was the cosmic plan to ask for 14 years for exile

donno which one is relevant and any other theories in this regard????😳
