Rakhi - 30th August Written Update

Scene starts with the father running off from the shelter in the rain and looking back at the children. The children too look on at thier father. Padam Singh walks off. Raja comforts his sister and brother and they sit on down on the floor under the shelter. Raja takes of his kurta and covers his siblings with it from the cold and tells them that they would wait here until Baba returns.

It is night and the children are still there. Raja has his arms around his brother n sister and comforts them. Nandini asks why baba isn't here yet and she's very hungry. Ambar (I'm not sure if this is exactly the younger brother's name) says that he probably went off to work and Nandini says that he has not forgotten us right?

Raja remembers his mothers words that his father will never forget his children and Raja tells his siblings that thier father will surely come. Its late at night and that is when a car comes in front of the shelter where the children are and the woman inside the car aks the driver to stop and is wondering why the children are stting there and she comes out of the car and calls them to her. They come there and she asks them what are they doing there. Raja says that they are waiting for their Babe and that has gone to fetch food for then and they are waiting for him here.

A man comes out of the car and says that he will never come! Parents who drop thier children here never come back! He points to a building beside the shelter and says this is an Orphange! The children are schocked. The man says your father will never come! The woman says that when your father comes you go with him. Meanwhile, come in and wait. You must be hungry. Nandini agrees and they go in except for Raja who is standing here.

The three children are inside the orpahange where there are other children who are sleeping. The three of them are given food by the woman and eating. Raja remebers the time when his mother used to feed them and is sad. They are given dry roti to eat. Ambar asks Raja why he is not eating and asks him to eat. Raja takes off the blanket covering him and puts it more comfortably around his siblings. Raja looks at the garlanded photo of God and is very angry. He picks up a glass off water and walks towards it.

He shouts to the photo why are you smiling? You're happy seeing our condition arent you? Mother says you take care of everyone so why not us? Why did you snatch our mother away from us! If you cna do miracles then show us your miracles! If there was God then why would there be an orpahange? Screamingt that he throws the glass off water to the photo but another woman ctaches it and says insolent! God provided youv with shelter in this orphanage when you needed most and you are throwing your anger at this God! She says her name is Fatema. She says if you want to stay in this orpahange you have to behave properly. She says the first rule is to wear uniforma and she throws it at Raja's face and says come with your things to my office and keep it there.

Fatema spots the family picture and says what is that! Raja explains what it is and syas my mother told me to keep it always to myself and says but she is no longer in this world! Raja says we wont give this to you. I'll do anything but we wont give this.

It is morning. The name of the Orphanage is Saraswati Anathalay.Its Rakshabandhan. Nandini remembers her mothers words on Rakshabandhan and is crying. Ambar asks what happened? Nandini says some boys snatched the Rakhi from me. Ambar says wait and he goes to the boys and is looking very angry.Nandini comes here too. Ambar asks for his sisters Rakhi. The boy throws it on the ground.

Raja comes there and is fighting all the boys. The other boys threaten him and Raja gets more angry but the boys have already ran away. Raja is hurt on his hand and it is bleeding. Nandini looks at it and is very concerned. She tears off a piece of her dupatta and ties it around the wound. A very cute scene between brother and sister. A nice happy Rakhi theme song is playing in the background. Nandini says you have protected us but now how am i supposed to tie you a Rakhi. Those boys broke it. Raja smiles and says this cloth that you have tied is the best Rakhi i can have and Raja hugs his siblings. Fatema looks on at the children's love for each other.

Nandini asks Raja for how long would they stay in the orphanage. Ambar asks why isnt baba here yet? He will come right? Nandini says that what if he doesn't come? Raja remembers the man's words on parents leaving the children here and never coming back. Raja says so what? I am here with you right? Raja says he wil take them to another place. Ambar asks where?

Just then a car comes into the Orphanage and and a man gets out. Sorry i missed a few minutes here and then it was break. After the break they show Raja telling the man and woman that came out of the car that no, my sister won't go anywhere. Fatema says what is this. Stop this nonsense. Raja says no, i wont leave my sister. Fatema says let her go and she tries taking Raja away and succeeds. Nandini and Ambar are still standing there. Fatemah is with Raja and asks him to stand at the place she put him. Raja says what are they going to do with Nandini? Fatema says that they are here to take Nandini with them. Raja says no. I promised my parents i wont sepratae my brother n sisters from me. Fatema says no! They will come tomorow and take Nandini and she tells him to be quiet when they come other wise she will lock him up and keep him hungry for three days.

It is night. All the children are sleeping except for Raja. Raja is lying down on the bed and remembering his mothers last words while she was dieing on always protecting his brother and sister and his promise to his mother. He also remebers Fatema's wrds on locking up if he creates a ruckus the next day when those people come to take Nandini. Raja is feeling very restless and he wakes up with aguish on his face! Episode ends on Raja's face.

Precap for Monday: Raja is taking is brother and sister and escaping from the orphanage when someone comes there and Raja takes a bamboo stick and starts fighting them.
