It's not a question of whether people sympathize with her or not. It sometimes doesn't even concern Rakhi. This is a TV show, afte rall.

Some people just believe in decency, and don't want to hear others condemning people left and right. For example, some people, self-appointed judges of Indian culture, started condemning things in this forum. Sharing opinion is one thing, claiming judgment is something different altogether. Maybe this is also the same thing Ashwin didn't understand. He wasn't asking questions, but his tone and his intent contained judgment in them. He was deeply insecure.

Now this doesn't just concern Rakhi, but it concerns everyone who wants to be open minded about culture and open to change. Those who are disappointed in Ashwin are not disappointed because they care about Ashwin or Rakhi, but because there ARE men like that out there, and there are people who think it is okay to insult another person on the basis of very narrow-minded and regressive views. It's not "macho," or anything worth praising, it's plain disgusting.

It is narrow-minded people in this forum who have continuously baited decent people into "defending" Rakhi. For example, I have not defended Rakhi, but I have pointed out reasons why I don't judge her. She is providing entertainment, and I watch the show to relax. She doesn't mean anything to me personally, but as a woman, I find it pretty degrading when some people say rude and sexist things about women. As a woman, I also appreciate that this woman has guts, she is honest, bold, and does not cower in the face of narrow-minded individuals who have nothing better to do than pass judgment on her.

Sorry but I didn't like how Aswin asked about her Physical relationship I don't think that was right I mean come on when people get engaged do they ask have you ever slept with someone? I think that was totally wrong he didn't respect Rakhi at all. Yeah I don't like they way she acts but that doesn't mean she's always like that. I am a married women and if someone asked me a question like that I'll be mad but he was asking her live. I am glad she eliminated him.

Even Elesh said he wanted to ask her a lot of personal questions, but he felt the forum for doing this was not good - he didn't want to embarass her on national television because he respects her too much for this ... he was mature about it and told her so - that there is so much he wants to know about her personally, but he can't ask her on television. He wanted to ask her privately.

I think Ashwin's approach was just wrong, and if he had approached me like this, I would have b een offended. I have no issues with talking about my life, and we know that Rakhi also doesn't - but his approach and lack of respect in the way that he asked was uncalled for.

The questions he asked were absolutely filthy & depicted his cheap or insecure mentallity. When he is here to marry Rakhi , it is clear that without liking her, he wudn't have participated in the swayamvar ..but if he wants to clear all these things & know abt her past completely , then why didn't he analyise this before liking her. What is the use of asking all this & what role does the past have to play in their future? & knowing the famous personality Rakhi is , it is obvious that no chapter in her past was hidden from the audience.

Every move she took was captured by the media & became a topic of gossip & controversies. She is a celeb , it is very natural that her past life is an open book in front of all of us. I seriously didn't understand what was Ashwin trying to prove by making her repeat her painful past , knowing the fact how uncomfortable she was with it.He shud have been sensitive towards her! & by asking all of them all over again , what is he going to gain? or is he so calculative that based on her answers , he will decide if he wants to marry her or not? So he is placing conditions for the two of them ? It clearly shows he doesn't love her! If he did , he wudn't have coaxed her abt her past as a result of that love should be unconditional.

There was a reason to ask rakhi,...everyone doubts her character.She is a celebrity.No one will ask a decent woman..rakhi is a decent lady but the world thinks otherwise,because of her job,so ashwin asked that question.
