Summary of Episode 12th
Description of the episode :
• The final six dulhas of the Swayamvar are given one final opportunity to go on individual dates with Rakhi
• The men are very excited and want to ask Rakhi questions about her childhood, family etc which they have not yet got much knowledge about
Rakhi's date with Chittiz - Rakhi and Chittiz go on top of a hill on a cable car
They talk about:
o Chittiz not wanting to live in Mumbai and Rakhi's career being in Mumbai
o Rakhi talks about how in her past relationship, it was one-sided love and Abhishek misused her to get ahead in his career
o Abhishek's parents suddenly changed their mind about Rakhi and said that they wanted Abhishek to marry someone from their caste once he got some fame
o They talk about each others' likes, dislikes, temperaments, beliefs etc
o Chittiz goes down on one knee and asks Rakhi to marry her
Rakhi's date with Elesh - They go to a garden and sit on a picnic mat and chat. Rakhi is wearing the Canada t-shirt that Elesh gave her the first time they met
They talk about:
o Elesh wanting to settle in Canada in the long run
o Elesh gives Rakhi his sister's wedding invitation and asks her to come for the wedding
o Rakhi's family and how she struggled to support her family and why she broke up with Abhishek
o Elesh talks about how they are opposites that attract
o He gives her 11 roses and asks her to look in the mirror and see the 12 most beautiful things in the world
o Elesh talks to her about his ex girlfriend and how she cheated on him
o An astrologer had predicted that Elesh will marry someone famous
o He talks about how he hasn't been able to communicate completely because of his language problem
o He tells Rakhi about a dream that he had on wanting to kiss her
o How important is the physical aspect in a relationship
o If we get married and have kids and I get busy in their upbringing, will you go out and have an affair
Rakhi's date with Manmohan - They go to a poolside and Rakhi wears a saree as Manmohan likes her to wear sarees
o Rakhi asks: If we get married and after 10 years I am not beautiful, will you still love me?
o Rakhi talks about how she doesn't have her family backing her and she has tears in her eyes
o They talk about ghoonghat pratha in Manmohan's house – Rakhi sits with a ghoonghat on her head
o Rakhi later recalls how Manmohan was showering her with flowers and starts singing in her bytes to cam
o She sings while on the date as well (hume tumse pyaar kitna..yeh hum nahi jaante..)
o It was overall a very romantic date
Rakhi's date with Luv - They sit around with a lot of candles
o Luv gives her a rose and a Bible
o Rakhi talks about how Luv impressed her a lot in the beginning and then suddenly he moved away
o Luv talks about his ex-girlfriend Sheetal who was also an item girl and that they broke up because she asked him to leave his parents
o Luv gets a cake for Rakhi and they cut the cake and feed each other
Rakhi's date with Manas:
o Manas talks about how he sees a little child in her
o They grill chicken on the barbeque and then eat
o Manas then gives her a scrapbook detailing their journey in the Swayamvar and Rakhi gets emotional
o Before the date, Rakhi had sent 2 greeting cards to Manas – one was addressed to a good friend and one was addressed to a sweetheart – she had asked him to choose one – Manas gives her his answer by writing in the Sweetheart card and leaving the other one blank. Rakhi is very touched by this gesture of Manas
o Manas discusses about why Radha is always said first when they talk about Radhe-krishna, likewise he want to be called as Rakhi Manas instead of Manas Rakhi
o Manas and Rakhi sing songs for each other
Rakhi's date with Ashwin
On this date, Ashwin asks Rakhi a lot of questions that annoy her and she feels as if he doubts her character. Some of these questions were:
o Have you ever done anything that you shouldn't have to get into the film industry, like pay money etc
o Did you have a physical relationship with Abhishek?
o I heard Mika wanted to come for the Swayamvar. What would you have done if her had come for the Swayamvar
o You have severed ties with your family. How will I ever get the affection that a son-in-law gets from his parents-in-law?
o What if Mika or Abhishek want to be friends with Rakhi after they get married?
