As RadhaKrishn show completed its 50th episode successfully, i want to share few words.This one is a bit personal.
The name KRISHNA is sufficient to lift you up from the grounds of sorrow & misery. Lucky are those Gokul,Barsana,Vrindavan folks to witness the divine feats of this supreme entity who simply tied them in his love's bandhan through nothing but his mischievous leelas and melodious tunes. In so many ways i am grateful to this show. To me it happened just at the right time. It came on air at a crucial juncture of my life. Never thought life will take such a drastic turn and I'll be put in a situation to witness this much of pain & devastation around myself. I lost my maternal grandmother last month to an unfortunate accident. A lot of things have changed since that day. As we are ordinary beings, it hurts more to see our loved ones in ache & anguish. You plead to God to take that grief from them but at the same time you know very well that you can't change the course of time. If creation is real then its destruction is inevitable. Even Krishna himself left his mortal body to respect the law of nature. Every human have their share of pain and pleasure on the basis of their past/present actions. Attachment is the shackle we don't have enough strength to get ourselves freed from. But there is someone above all our earthly sufferings & happenings to guide us. To me that is Lord Krishna.
Even the chanting of his name brings immense peace & contentment. To be a part of the journey of Krishna's evolution from a preacher of love to a reformer of society through this show is awe inspiring. Along with a deep understanding of life, it ignites your inner conscience. Even though distorted to a certain extent, this show still managed to give us the undiluted philosopher Krishna we all paint a picture of while reading those holy scriptures. His preachings and teachings are valuable treasure troves of knowledge. Nobody describes life the way Krishna does. The balance he tells us to maintain in life to keep the dingnity of our souls intact is beyond comparison with anyone else's prescribed morals and values to live a virtuous life.
Destiny is adamant,life is unfair,bondage is illusory,vision is diluted,desires are ridden with materialism,hope is fading,future is laden with uncertainty...we often get caught up in situations like this. The fog of uncertainty is bound to block our paths but it's our determination that will act as the ray of light to get out of such temporary roadblocks. If you add the fuel of enlightenment & sagacity to arouse the fire of wisdom within you then the path leading towards self-discovery will automatically open. To be human is to live through adversity said Krishna aptly. Let love be the base on which you'll establish a life of exemplary deeds.
At present Krishna is the only supreme audience of our life's play and at the end of the play he will be the sole reviewer of our performance. Let your soul immerse in his devotion for everything else is an illusion.
