Sumi ,regarding Radha and these curses --😊Radha has been perceived differently by different people down the ages. She is sometimes the adulterous and amorous lover of Krishna and for others his divine consort. This perhaps makes her the most confusing character in Indian mythology. Being a girl in cowherd village, involved in deep love with Lord Krishna, a divine love for her God, I consider her as an embodiment of love in this universe. To define her character in different perspective, in the light of philosophical, psychological and of course within mythological ambit, each and every effort was though, a well-tried attempt, lacks some essence in it to impress the highly possessive viewers in this regard!!
For me, the precursor of the first episode starts with a curse by Sreedama and then by Radha is not convincingly correct, a bit confusing too, 100 years in those ancient times were not equivalent of today's years. Why starting with a curse? They said that they did good research work, so let us keep this point aside for the time being. 😊
The idea of bringing the grownup Radha and Krishna as narrators for the first few episodes is very innovative and interesting, evoking many expectations, and am sure will attract many viewers. I am trying to understand this "narrative idea" and the associated enduring enigma of Radha- Krishna love and their longings for each other , how they will present to the viewer is very interesting now .😊
