He is young. He is good looking. Very successful. And still single. With very little time to mingle with people because life is really hectic and he has no time for anything but work. Still, he is happy with the way life is treating him. That's Nikhil Arya for you, tellyfolks. Just recently he moved into his dream house, his first home in this dream city. Wow! And with two popular shows Kesar on Star Plus and Rabba Ishq Na Hove on Zee, life couldn't treat him any better. In this conversation with Nitin Joshi, Arya talks about work and life in general - and, of course, his new home. Excerpts from the interview: Have you moved into your new house? Yes, I have, just a few days ago. I have been constantly working on getting it done up properly. It's a wonderful feeling. Also my parents were very happy. I have made them proud.
Yes, it is because it is my first house that I own in Mumbai and I have done it up the way I wanted to. I am very happy. Also, you seem to be content on the work front? Work is excellent. I think that's what translates into happiness. Both my shows are doing well so I am happy. No complaints although I have been shooting continuously. I am taking a three-and-half day break for the New Year - I am off to Goa to chill and unwind. Which of the two characters do you enjoy playing more? What gives me a high is that both my characters are dramatically opposite. Rudr (in Kesar) is on the verge of losing it completely as weird things are happening to him and he will soon need psychiatric help. While in Rabba Ishq..., I am the sacrificing one whose brother marries the woman I love. I am okay with both guys - they give me lots to do. Honestly, I am glad about everything that has happened to me. Do you appear in any TV commercials at present? No time, what to do? I'd love to though. I miss doing ads. Initially, when I started out with the two serials, I thought I'd have time but I was wrong. Still, my career graph is going up so no complaints. How about films? There have been some offers but I am waiting for better ones. What about marriage? Hmmm... It's a dicy proposition, giving it a thought now. Can't really tell you when. Seeing someone...? Lastly, if you had not opted to be an actor what would you have liked to be? ----------------------------------------------------- picss : Could find more ..Sorry </> |
