Zoya sat on her little poofy sofa after having dinner quietly. She was lost in thought about what Rashid had said to her earlier. She couldn't possibly help him, not when she had a worse past herself. She had to lay low, but somehow she couldn't be away from him! For the last couple weeks she felt like something was missing. Restlessness was a consequence.
Still not able to get her mind off Asad, she switched on the TV and smiled as she saw the opening of her favourite show, it was a rerun of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Giggling, she sang along to the iconic opening song and continued watching whatever played after until she fell deep asleep on the sofa.

After a whole day of frustrations and a night of repent, Asad finally landed back on JFK airport. What had transpired the day before had really shaken him, he decided he needed to see Zoya. For she was the only one who could make him feel better, yet worse. With a tired hand he waved to his driver who was waiting for him to take him home.
After a moment of hesitation, Asad sighed in the backseat and told his driver to drop him at Rashid's. The driver obliged and drove, in no less than 15 minutes they had reached. Asad stood in between their two buildings and took in the differences between them. Shaking his head, he walked into the old homey building and climbed the narrow stairs. Counting the doors down the corridor, he stopped at the third last door from the end.
He rang the doorbell once.
Twice.
Thrice.
No response.
"Zoya, I know you're upset but please, listen to what I have to say." He said to the door, hoping she heard. Again, no response. He checked his watched and almost laughed in agony at his own stupidity. She's probably gone to work.

Zoya was sitting in a taxi to work. After telling the driver her destination she simply sat scribbling out a sketch on her iPad. Her eyes kept darting out the window just to check whether the driver was going the right way. And it was a good thing she checked, because he wasn't.
"Hey Mr, my office is that way!" She said concerned. The driver didn't respond and kept driving down the straight road. Zoya panicked and tapped the driver on the shoulder aggressively. "Hey you! We're going the wrong way! Turn back NOW before I call 911."
The driver stayed in spooky silence and to Zoya's horror, he suddenly turned down a dingy lane. Zoya started sweating and fumbled with her phone to call 911, but her phone was glitching to no end! Cursing her fate, she decided to jump out of the car. She pulled at the latch but the door was locked. Trying to manually unlock it was no good, because none of the locks would budge! Not being able to think of anything else, she started banging on the windows with her fists, shouting for help. Hoping someone will hear her.
"Help! Please, somebody! Help me! ASAD!!" She called the only name that came to her mind, and the only name she ever had the luxury to call. "Please, somebody!" She said and abruptly stopped when she felt the car lurch to a hold. Shivering with fear and fatigue, she turned to look at the driver.
"Did you enjoy the ride, Miss?" An oddly familiar voice said. Zoya could hear his sneer as he spoke. Her mind reeling over the familiarity of his voice. Slowly, he turned around to leer at her. Half his face was covered by his black cap, but Zoya recognised the unnerving smirk instantly.
"YOU?!" She yelled in anger and fear. Her heart went cold and a terrible sinking feeling took over her. The familiar voice was no other than Farhan. "What the hell do you think you're doing??" Zoya screeched at him. But she couldn't help her voice breaking and her tears started brimming.
"Taking what I want..." He whispered menacingly before lunging over to the backseat, Zoya screamed. He tried touching her but Zoya was quick to avoid his cruel hands. Farhan managed to leap into the back seat and touch Zoya's thigh intimately, Zoya let out a cry and flinched. He prowled closer and Zoya started shivering, her skittering gaze fell onto the main lock beside the drivers seat. As quick as a flash she raised a leg to kick Farhan in the stomach whilst reaching for the lock and successfully unlocking the car. She pulled the latch behind her and fell out of the car.
Once again thanking God for her preference for flats, Zoya ran out of the small, dark alley and onto a not very busy road. She ran down the street, hearing Farhan's heavy footsteps behind her. Well at least it's broad daylight, she thought. She didn't notice a small step in the pavement and tripped over it. She had cut her knee and a small bruise was forming on her forehead. Zoya's body shivered and she was almost dripping in cold sweat, a firm hand caught her tightly by the elbow and dragged her to stand up. Farhan tried to drag her back to the alley when a strong hand clamped onto his shoulder.
le Update guys! Ik it's horribly short, but this time it's on purpose. It's got a second part to it that is much MUCH longer.
