Chapter 5

Zoya was discussing something with Najma and Dilshad about the jashn-e-bahar, Ayaan was sitting with them with a sad face thinking about his plan which got flopped due to his brother's so-called business trip when someone lightly tapped his shoulder

Ayaan(coming out of the trance): yes

Humeira: are you ok? Since when I'm calling you

Ayaan: is it? I'm sorry I was thinking something, anyway what happened?

Humeira: baji is discussing the theme, you tell me which songs you all will prefer

Ayaan: I don't know you ask Tamatar I mean Najma she is the bride

Najma: really bhaijaan? Currently, I'm the most confused bride, so you only go ahead with songs

Ayaan thinking, "she will make me spill all the beans once all this is over, bhai what you did was totally wrong"

Ayaan(again lost): subah saware uthke tune yeh sab kar diya

Humeira: what!

Farhan: Ayaan texted me yesterday

Najma: Even you are involved

Farhan thinking " involved? "

Farhan(whispering to Ayaan): you told her everything?

Ayaan nodded in no

Farhan to Najma: Ayaan told me...me whatever he told you same to same

Ayaan seeing him fumbling with words

Ayaan: are you seriously the well-known lawyer Farhan Qureshi people talk about?

Farhan: I'm glad your sister not into law or else I would have been begging in streets

Ayaan: just saw the demo

Farhan: whatever, where is Asad bhaijaan by the way

Ayaan: on his way to London

Farhan(whispered): what! Then our plan?

Ayaan just signed sadly that's when Haider entered

Haider: hello everyone!

Dilshad: arre Haider beta, come have a seat you came in correct time we were discussing Najma's jashn-e-bahar, you also tell which song you're going to perform?

Haider: oh cool but aunty I have to rush now

Najma just smiled in return, when she noticed Zoya smiling hearing their talk

Najma: in all this I forgot to introduce you all to our choreographers. .guys meet farhan my fiance

Najma: and meet

Zoya and Humeira greeted him with a smile

Zoya thinking, " Allah Miya! Asad has such a loving and mind blowing family lucky guy, it feels so home over here"

Dilshad: yes, Asad had texted me about it, it's in his room I will bring it

With that Dilshad went from there

Najma: I will bring juice for you all

With that Najma also went towards the kitchen

Ayaan: you knew, that bhai is leaving for London still you didn't bother to inform me!

Zoya was typing something in her mobile suddenly she stopped hearing Ayaan

Haider: I thought he must have informed you

Ayaan: he did inform! one hour before leaving, who leaves like that for one whole month

Farhan: exactly

Haider: guys what are you saying? One month, no it will take around six months for him to return

Farhan: what! Are you kidding me

Haider: common I have his schedule, he has finalized 4 tenders within a day over there completing that would take approx 6 months, after that maybe he will return

Farhan: maybe?

Haider: because he told me to send that Singapore project details which are going to start after 6 months

Ayaan: what about his head office which is in Bhopal unfortunately for him

Haider(casually): you will handle in his absence, but I will be accompanying him in a month after wrapping up all the ongoing project

Ayaan (surprised): He didn't say anything about it to Ammi or Tamatar

Haider: common you know your brother, it will just take 5 mins for him to convince them in Skype

Zoya was numb to react anything, she was having no idea what's going with her she was feeling like crying out loud and another minute she felt like screaming in anger, she was feeling that she lost everything but one more thing running inside her mind was all this just for a stranger but after losing him she got an answer to that he is not just a stranger but again her heart sinked thinking is she too late to realize it, after lot of difficulties she gathered herself and got up from her place and rushed outside not giving anyone a chance to even react

Zoya ran outside the main gate

Zoya(crying): I have to stop him, how can he leave like this!

She heard a taxi engine nearing, wiping her tears she extended her hands to stop it.

Driver: yes madam?

Zoya: airport...international airport

Driver: get in madam

Zoya nodded and got inside the taxi all the way she was just crying and cursing herself

Zoya thinking, "Asad please don't leave me like this I won't be able to forgive myself" she was thinking about all the time she had spend with him, even it was just for a day it was very special for her

Flashback:

Asad: don't be stubborn Zoya! I know you are a strong girl and you don't need anyone or at least I'm not the one whom you want in your life

Zoya thinking "I need you, I really love you"

Airport :

Asad was also thinking about Zoya their first meeting, her dance when he was 1st time mesmerized by her, her never die attitude, her funny antics

Asad thinking " I really love you a lot Zoya "

After sometime

Driver: madam we reached, taxi's are not allowed further

Zoya paid him the money and got down from the taxi and taxi went from there but now she was blank as it's the first time she has come to the airport, now she was clueless as where to move, she heard one lady talking to someone so Zoya hurriedly went towards her direction

Zoya: excuse me, madam, can you please tell me the direction towards the main gate

Lady: yes, can you see the path over there from there take a right (pointing at the direction)

Zoya: where? madam, I can't see so please tell me which direction I have to move

That's when she noticed her stick,

Lady(checking the time): look I'm sorry I have to check in now, you ask someone else now excuse me

With that, she left from there

Zoya: but..listen...i..

one elderly man went to her seeing her standing tense near the airport

Man: what happened beta? You looked very worried, can I help you?

Zoya: yes!! Please tell me the direction towards the main gate...I have to urgently stop him from leaving... Please (folding her hands in front from him)

Man: sure beta, come I will take you to the main gate

Zoya smiled gratefully and went with him

Man: here we reached the main gate but...

Before he could say anything she rushed to get inside only to get bumped by a security officer

Officer: where are you going madam? Show me your passport and ticket

Zoya: I don't have that! I just want to stop someone from leaving please let me go

Officer: no you can't get in like that!

Zoya: please I don't have much time, it's really very important

Officer: please move from here, let me do my work

Zoya: but...

Again that man came to her

Man: beta how urgent the situation is they will not allow you in

Zoya: I know uncle it's an airport and how strict the security is over here. but still, I have to convince them.

She again tried convincing the security but they were just paying deaf ears to her pleases, finally not able to convince them, she started shouting from the entrance

Zoya(shouting) :ASAD!! ASAD, ASAD PLEASE COME BACK, DON'T LEAVE ME LIKE THIS

All the people attention went towards Zoya seeing her shouting so loudly

Officer(seeing the commotion): what are you doing! You can't shout like this it's an airport for god sake

Zoya(frustrated): Allah Miya! What's wrong with you! You're not allowing me to go inside, now you're telling me not to call him from here, why don't you understand if I will not stop him today then I will lose him forever

Officer thinking, "dammm! Lovers should be ban on using airplane"

Officer(finally giving up seeing her stubbornness): ok fine! Now listen to me, if I will let you go inside without passport and ticket then I will lose my job and you will end up in jail, so I'm not taking that risk at all, so you give me the details of the passenger I will send your message to him

Zoya: ok, his name is Asad Ahmed Khan he has an intense voice and he is an architect

Officer(giving her the unbelievable look): I'm going to give your message, not missing complaint give me his flight details

Zoya: I'm sorry due to stress btw his flight details is...( she stopped realizing she doesn't know his flight details)

Zoya: London, he is going to London

Officer: which airways?

Zoya: don't know

Officer(composing himself): ok what time is the flight?

Zoya: I don't know

Officer: then what the hell do you know! Are you playing some kind of prank on me

Zoya: no sir, as soon as I heard he is leaving for London my mind stopped working and next moment I rushed here, I don't know anything apart from this

Man: please sir there might be some way! She really needs your help

Officer(looking at her ): wait, I will just enquire and come

Officer came back with a dejected face

Officer: sorry to tell you madam, the flight to London has been departed 1 hour ago and that was the last airplane for the day flying to London

Zoya she was completely blank hearing him her small hope had come to an end even security guard was feeling bad seeing her condition, the stick slipped from her hand due to the slight shivering only thing going in her mind was Asad she started walking backward thinking about him with continuous tears rolling down her eyes

Zoya( walking backward): what did I do!

As she was fully in shock mode she didn't realize the staircase behind hence she tripped and was above to break her head but then was stopped by the strong muscular hand which held her by her waist, she smiled through her tears recognizing that special touch and presence which was creating havoc inside her since day one

Asad(worried): are you ok Zoya? What were you doing! why can't you be little more careful! you have any idea what would have happened if I wasn't here in time

Not able to hold it anymore she hugged him tightly breaking down in his shoulders, Asad was now more worried seeing her so miserable, he was stroking her head to calm her down

Zoya(between her sob): I LOVE YOU ASAD! I LOVE YOU ALOT!

Asad was feeling like the happiest man alive hearing her confession all of sudden. he felt so relaxed as if 100kg weight had been removed from his chest unknown to him a silent tear rolled down his eyes he looked down at her who was engulfed in his arms there is nothing more he could ask for, he hugged her more tightly hiding his face in her neck and cherishing the moment, after sometimes realizing that they are in public place and all eyes are glued to them, he tried coming out of the hug also to calm her down but Zoya was not ready to move at all

Zoya: no you will run away

Asad: no I'm not running anywhere and not at all without you! I promise

She came out of the hug still holding his hand tightly as she doesn't want to take any risk, Asad kissed her palm

Asad: relax

Zoya had now stopped crying also her cheeks turned light pink after feeling his lips on her palm, Asad smiled seeing his effect on her.

Zoya(emotionally): Asad I was so scared, I felt as if my existence came to an end

Asad(cupping her face): shhh!! Never say that again

Asad noticed she is still nervous and somewhere he was feeling guilty being the reason behind her state

Asad: Zoya, I'm glad you came or else things would have been very difficult

Zoya: I know Asad things would have been very difficult, you were all set to leave for London for 6 months and after that for Singapore. Allah Miya! Thank you so much, I made up in time

Asad: no that's not the problem if you hadn't come it would have been very difficult for me to convince the authorities to send me to London without ticket

Zoya: yeah, that's true! (suddenly realizing) WAIT! What did you say without a ticket?

Asad: yeah actually...

Zoya(left his hand): you mean to say all this was a drama, you leaving to London everything and I fall in your trap!

Asad: Zoya...

Zoya: shut up ok! How could you do this to me!(lightly pushing him) you know what I went through! (again pushing him)all the way I was cursing myself and you were enjoying everything like a matinee show!

Asad(holding her wrist): then what was I supposed to do, this was the only way I found to make you realize

Zoya(lashing out at him): this is your way! This is not the way, we call this a mini heart attack which you nearly gave me, you know when I reached here I asked one lady to help me initially she was ready when she realized I'm blind suddenly she had a rush to check-in

Asad: that's ridiculous!

Zoya: exactly and I couldn't say anything to her because I was so stressed thinking that you're all set to leave the country otherwise I would have shown her a right place that she would never dare to humiliate anyone in future

Asad: basically, you are angry because you couldn't lash out her

Zoya: yes,(immediately changing her words) but that's not the only matter ok! How could you do this to me

Asad: ok, I can explain

Zoya: you have to! I'm listening

Asad(taking a long breath): actually yesterday when I was talking to Ayaan my younger brother

Zoya: I know!

Asad thinking,"is there anything which she doesn't know"

Zoya(sarcastically): I don't have whole day

Asad under his breath "such a drama queen"

Asad: I told him everything happened in garden, how I proposed, you disposed and he said it's my fault being a girl it's not easy for you to take such a big decision and I rushed everything

Zoya: is he really your younger brother? Because he talk sense unlike you who suddenly proposes without any warning and then do such drama

Asad: excuse me it's not like every next day I propose a girl I didn't know these weird rules, you are the first girl I had proposed

Zoya: also the last one!

Asad: are you asking or telling?

Zoya: threatening!

Asad(chuckled): ok fine! So after hearing his words I just wanted to make sure that it was indeed one-sided or you have any feelings, that's why!

Zoya: then why were you shocked seeing me at your place, I still remember your shocked voice

Asad: because I was not at all expecting you at my house, in fact, I had told Haider to go to your academy and break that news but my idiot brother called you home almost ruining my plan

Zoya: don't blame him it's entirely your fault

Asad: oh really! How come?

Zoya: ok I'm a fool who was denying my feelings, for that you made a plan that's understood everything is fair in love! But why did you send Haider, you yourself should have said that you are leaving and I would have stopped you there we could have avoided this airport mess

Asad: I had promised you in the garden that I would never disturb you again and AAK never breaks his promises so I had to involve Haider

Zoya: Allah Miya! What's wrong with this man! You're also not less Zoya in this whole universe you had to fall for him, what you think of yourself, Salman khan? who cannot take back his commitment? You know what I'm not marrying you forget it

Asad(casually) :Ok fine

Zoya(irritated): you are fine with it?

Asad: first you denied I thought maybe you don't love me but now after knowing your feelings stilling you're denying that it's completely ok, I will just kidnap you and get married to you

Zoya: haww! How could you!

Asad(teasing tone): anything for you

Asad: I would prefer to die than giving up on you

Zoya(covering his mouth with her palm): never say that word! I can't even think of losing you! It has become impossible to leave without you!

Asad: as I said I'm not leaving you! You're my addiction! Promise me that you will never leave me

Zoya: Asad and Zoya will always be together (with a naughty smile) you know what there is no rehabilitation center to get rid of this addiction

Asad(smirking): that's a relief!

With that, he kissed her forehead silently promising himself to give her all the happiness in the world and Zoya closed her eyes not wanting this moment to end

When Zoya was talkingg wih that officer and creating a scene..it reminded me of AsYa at airport in the show...

just the roles reversed 😉

Loved their banter afterwards..
