Surbhi Jyoti seems to have a great tuning with producer Gul Khan. No wonder after her debut show Quabool Hai (QH) she has again agreed to an untitled Four Lions web series along with Barun Sobti. This shows that Surbhi trusts Gul and wants to repay her for giving the biggest break of her life. Towards the end of the above Zee TV Muslim social, Surbhi was left holding the sack as most other lead actors jumped ship. This stress was clearly visible on Surbhi's face. The storyboardhad gone completely haywire due to TRP pressures. Time slot was also altered. Had she also quit QH would have shut down, but she wanted to finish what she started. She understood that all said and done QH has made a mark lasting around 4 years. Hope other TV actors had the same kind of loyalty towards their producers. We hope that Gul manages to rework her magic. Barun and Surbhi are actorsworth their salt. And this time around since the format is web, she will not be restricted by TRP aunties who only prefer one kind of content. Gul's audiences are fickle minded youth whohave increasingly moved away to web from broadcast. No wonder, Geet which though attaining iconic status among this TG never really registered on TRP meters.. Surbhi has smartly decided to return with a short stand alone digital format as opposed to a daily TV series for the latter is much more time consuming. And Surbhi should continue to take it easy for a few more months. Recharging her batteries, spending time with family and exploring the world before again getting locked in a far-flung studio for 12 hrs, 30 days a month. Surbhi your fans would also love to seeyou do a big ticket nonfiction show, something like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa should be right up your alley.
