It's an interesting one, because the roles have reversed. Armaan is the patient, obliging and pro-active one, and Mahira just shoots everything down in indignantly.
The more she resists him, the more interested he is. Every defiance just makes him more impressed.
Yup, he's been bitten by the Mahira bug so hard.
I know we're supposed to think that its Azaad's heart in him that is the reason. But for me this takraana, battle, is more telling. It seems like he has never met a girl like Mahira. Feisty, morally upright, proper schoolgirl types, gorgeous as hell to boot.
No wonder he feels more smitten with her every dagger-stare and almost slap. That's the exact quality he likes about her. She doesn't give two hoots about his wealth and status.
She hates his guts, and that's it.
Mahira reminds a lot of Zoya nowadays, not that I'm complaining... Her heart is in the right place. She has no obligations whatsoever to this man who now has her husband's heart. I love the way she rolled her eyes when Lateef (or was it Kainaat?) mentioned that Azaad's heart is clamouring for her.

Then locked her in her room with the dress!
What did she do? She cut the dress up !

But now some interesting twisting is approaching. Armaan has made her 50% owner of the mansion, and even bought over the newspaper that fired her, leading to her reinstatement. And the man himself decides to settle in Bhopal as his base of operations.
Does that mean he's going to work at Mahira's workplace??
