The show is currently in Season 4 post the leap and we currently have the 3rd Generation and have came a long way from the likes of Asad and Zoya. But in terms of storyline and vamps galore, how far has the story came?

Lets take a look at the similarities all the seasons share :

Season 1 :

Nature of Storyline : A modern girl discovering her root and changing the life of an Orthodox man.

- 2 Brothers and One Girl (Asad, Zoya, Ayaan)
- 1 Vamp between the love birds (Tanveer, Zoya + Asad)
- Sister falls/marries wrong person (Nikhad + Farhan)
- Zoya + Asad's love story ends in a tragedy. Cause? Tanveer.

(Razia was main villain in S1 and Tanveer continues the legacy and becomes the main villain)

Season 2 & 3:

Nature of Storyline : Sanam avenging the death of her parents and Tanveer's death

- 2 Brothers and One Girl (Aahil, Sanam, Rehaan)
(This time there was a twist with Sanam having a twin and Rehaan falling for her)
- 1 Vamp between the love birds (Sanam 2, Aahil + Sanam)
- Sister falls/marries wrong person (Nazia+ Saif)
- Aahil + Sanam's love story ends in a tragedy. Cause? Sanam2

(Tanveer dies and Sanam 2 continues her legacy)

Season 4 :

Nature of Storyline : Sanam2 losses her power and her son is a vampire/were-wolf and Mahira is the key to their problem

- 2 Brothers and One Girl (Azad, Mahira, Amaad)
- 1 Vamp between the love birds (Afreen, Azad+ Mahira)
- Sister falls/marries wrong person (Kaynaat+ Sameer)

(Sanam 2 becomes Khan Begum and joins hand with the forever young, Razia)

Now with the entry of Afreen, is she all set to be the next Tanveer and Sanam2? Is she all set to be the main lead if the show ever takes another leap and she becoming the next Khan Begum and her son falling for another Mahira look alike?

The story may have taken leaps, new characters but the core story remains the same with overdose of evil winning over good. Would at least Season 4 get a happy ending? Only time shall tell.

LOL. So true. I don't even watch Season 4. But, is the son a vampire or a werewolf? Or are both sons something? And, how on earth did they become vampires?😆

I don't really follow the show but watch bits and pieces of it to keep tab on what's going on in the show. Been moderating the show since Season 1 and this was what i had noticed in the storyline and with the entry of Afreen, i could not help but to wonder if she would be the next Tanveer and Sanam 2 in the future 😕

i watched till season 2 then it was completely impossible.. then again one day noticed the bubbly cheerful and funny Mahira I began to re-watch the show only after two weeks it changed a lot.
The same story is repeating itself with changed of actors ...
How come a girl always dies and reincarnates at the same place again and again...
KB is not growing old at all she looks younger than Azad...
Lack of ideas brought in three witches... because no need to use logic to write the story.
Suddenly Azad is no more powerful but Afreen is the most powerful than him...
God know what is the power of Mahira and when she'll get a hint about it.

I watched till the show was sensible during s1
I tried to watch s2 but for the very same similarities as you mentioned I couldn't digest it, especially the love triangles. First it was supposed to be Asad-Zoya-Ayaan, that didn't seem feasible so they brought in Tanveer to function both as a third wheel and future main villain. Then what we see in s2? Ahil-Sanam-Rehan triangle, PLUS Rahat-Haya-Faiz triangle. Solved the former with Seher entry, but then brought in Sanam 2 to fill the place n takeover once Tanveer dies. Such a innovative storyline, which runs in circles hence no place for any ending! That plus thousands of stupidities which show lack of common sense. It is uncommon, after all, as QH shows.

Well said!
Sums up QH! ...Nothing new! ...Had watched a few episodes from S3 but haven't watched a single episode of S4.

If this is what we get in the name of entertainment , then it's better to stay away from this!

At least in S4, d heroine has self-respect not forgiving d hero easily for her insults. Last episode was awesome 4m Mahira as she told everything to Azad wat we all waited for Zoya to tell Asad instead of always forgiving him. TBH, I am happy dat she is not extra bubbly like before n like Zoya. She is wat how a real woman wid self-respect sud be. I qm sure if it was some another forum Mahira wud have been called insensitive, selfish, arrogant, bitchy n all but our forum is among d forums wid sanest people. Dats d only difference in S4 dat is of a realistic woman wid loads of self-respect who will not melt wid a sorry n 2 tears.

Stopped watching after Sanam 2 stayed in the house and then heard of the leap for S3. Overall it started out as a show about the idea of breaking conventional stereotypes about Muslim culture and how they should treat and view women, and now it's turned into a show and tell of how to run out of ideas, and preach that evil wins over good 90% of the time.

The same love triangles, which when are finally resolved, last literally 2 episodes of happiness and then end up in another new tragedy, which brings a new main vamp, and new leap and new season.

In S4 I guess they had to LITERALLY bring in vamps, even if they weren't evil. Ridiculous. I used to love this show, and how ground breaking the initial concept was. But this is just disappointing. And what bothers me the most, is that a talented actress like Surbhi could be thriving in other better shows with logical, and sensible storylines.
