It wasn't long before Monday came. Zoya came in her short black skirt and white shirt, she wore knee length boots and a beaded chain around her neck, and with her hair loosely curled she looked absolutely amazing. Coming in to the office she definitely made a few heads turn, guys and girls alike. Dev could not stop complimenting her and when Safa walked in, well she was an inch short of tripping up on thin air.

Giving her an evil look Safa walked towards her desk 'didn't think you would have the courage to come back after what you done' Zoya stood up and smiled at her 'I am here for one reason and one reason only...because Asad Ahmed Khan wants me to be here' Safa narrowed her eyes that were on the verge of spewing venom 'make that two reasons Zoya' Zoya and Safa turned around to see Annie standing there with Zack 'not only Asad but Zack and Annie want you here too...anyhow Mr Khan has asked for an emergency meeting, let's go' as she was about to turn around she looked at Safa 'Safa, well done on the report and presentation, am sure Mr Khan will be giving you a special mention too' Safa smiled like there was no tomorrow 'thank you Annie'.

Asad saw Zoya walked in and couldn't helt the smile that adorned his lips, keeping his gaze locked with hers he followed her around the meeting room until she took her seat next to Annie.

Sitting down he picked up his phone

You look absolutely stunning Zoya, am glad you decided to wear them

Zoya's face started to burn read as she read his message

My boss has good taste in fashion; all credit goes to a certain Mr Asad Ahmed Khan

I hear your boss has good taste in food too

Really, enlighten me

Be ready to be enlightened Miss Farooqui, I will pick you up at seven

Dinner with the boss, is that allowed?

Find me a rule book that disallows it

Ok Boss, you can start the meeting now.

Asad put his phone down and when he stood up to address his team a whole new persona took over. The one that intimidated and often scared people, how he could have two very different personalities no one knew.

Asad thanked his team for all their efforts and the hard work they put in at the conference, he then went on to discuss a few other pressing matters including how he was going to host the New Year's party in Delhi as opposed to having it away from home.

The meeting went on for nearly two hours, as he got feedback from every team, going through all their projects and clearing anything that was pending. At the end before he closed the meeting Asad stood up and looked towards Safa 'before I let you all go, I would like to make a special announcement, Safa would you like to join me up here please' Safa who was beaming the biggest smile ever had no idea how quickly her smile was about to fade away.

'Whilst in Mumbai Safa managed to put together a presentation that totally blew us away, it was amazing, how she was able to put together something so big in such little time'. As Asad sang her praises Safa stood tall taking it all in. Zack, Annie and Zoya bit their tongues to stop themselves from laughing; only they knew what the poor girl was in for.

'As you know Asad Ahmed Khan never turns away from talent, I appreciate everyone's efforts and hard work and will always aim to rewards my workers...so for the work that Miss Safa Qureshi has done I would like to present her with this' Asad handed a letter to Safa, which she took smiling, almost jumping 'thank you so so much Mr Khan' she squealed 'would you like to open it?' 'Here' 'Yes, here' ok'.

Safa opened the letter and as she read through it her face dropped 'Mr...Mr Khan, I think there has been some mistake...this letter...it's a letter of termination' Asad turned around to face her 'there is no mistake Miss Qureshi, you hold there a letter of termination, in other words you are fired' Safa looked around at all the faces that let out gasps 'wh...why...what have I done?' 'You really want me to answer that...actually you know what, I will. It's because you stole Zoya's report and presented it as your own, you lied, you made her look like a liar and a thief in front of all of us when it was you' 'that's not true...you know she had no evidence of it...' 'Stop' Asad shouted out making her jump 'you went on to her laptop and downloaded her report, you then deleted it making sure there was no trace of it...but what you didn't know at the time Miss Qureshi was that Zoya had already emailed it to us earlier. People like you have no place here, you have exactly twenty minutes to pack your belongings and leave' Safa looked up at Zoya and then at the room filled with people, she quickly wiped her tears and ran out of the room more than just embarrassed, she felt humiliated.

As the room emptied Zoya walked up to Asad 'I know what she done was wrong, but don't you think publically dismissing her was a little too much' 'No, I do not tolerate liars, cheaters or thieves, she did wrong, whatever her reasons were. She needed to be taught a lesson, that she can't go and jeopardize someone else's hard work and career for her own selfish gains, at least she won't be making that mistake again' Zoya didn't argue back 'ok, I will see you later on...just make sure it's not Chinese' Asad let out a laugh 'no Chinese...promise'.

Finishing her work for the day Zoya looked at the time, it was nearly half five 'Dev, I am off, I will see you guys tomorrow' 'sure thing...and Zoya, I am sorry for what you had to go through with Safa, it can't have been pleasant' 'no it wasn't, I still don't get why?' 'Is it not obvious' 'Not really' 'she was jealous of you, the relationship you had with Annie and Zack, and the way that you were and are so good at your job. Since she came here she has been trying to get her claws on Mr Khan. I mean if you knew him you would know that he pays no attention to anyone, especially not a girl...and if he did, you would know that she really had to be special' Zoya's stomach summersaulted, was she special? If Asad was so well known for his ignorance towards girls then why was he paying her so much attention, he had even asked her out to dinner.
