"Azaad"...screamed Mahira.
"Mahira...I can't see you. Where are you?"...
"Maahira..." Azaad woke up with a thud.
What happened to Mahira? Is she okay? Why had I seen such a dream? Is she is in any kind of danger? I should check her once... thought Azaad.
He ran downstairs. Yesterday only they returned together from the jungle. He had not seen her since yesterday's morning.
He went downstairs and saw her sitting near the stairs.
"Why are you sitting so idle?"
"This should not be your matter of concern."
He sounded rough, thought he.
"Your every matter is my matter of concern!" said he.
"Okay calm down. Your ammi is calling. Go and check her out."
He went and opened the door. Khan Begum came running.
"Azaad I am so happy. Your ammi has got her powers back..."
"Ammi congratulation! But how you got it back?"
Khan Begum hesitated and said nothing.
"Ammi you will not tell me?"
"Azaad everything should not be your matter of concern"
"But Ammi..."
"Get out..."
Azaad took his bag and got ready to leave for the farm house like day before yesterday.
This time he was hurt. His ammi said him get out.
He checked his car's back twice just to check Maahira is not there like last time. And started driving his car.
His sadness took over him and his driving grew harsh.
"Oh please drive the car slow. Otherwise you can have an accident" said someone from the back seat.
Azaad turned back and got shocked. Maahira was sitting there.
"You, how you got in the car?"
"I was sitting here from first."
"What?"
"You hadn't noticed?"
"I checked the whole car before leaving. You were not there."
"I was there and you checked only the back of your car."
He stopped the car.
"Come and sit in the front. I am not your driver."
"I know..."
She came and sat with him.
"We are heading back home." Said he.
"No...I mean its lunch time. You should have some lunch," said Maahira.
"Okay"
What happened to her? She is saying as if I will have the lunch alone and she will not eat anything.

"I don't want to have anything. And please stop talking with me"

"Yes! I am a soul that's why I don't need any food to live. Now close your mouth and order your food!"
