PS: Just a heads up, The Hobbit is a prequel to the LOTR. Some people were confused, so...

yes initially she was introduced as a device to bring asya closer...to bring up jealousy , insecurity issues of zoya, so that she realises she is actually in love with asad and she would not let any other woman to claim him hers...I think nisha thought it was a grey character when she said yes, then after 2 weeks she realised kuch gadbad hai and left . fir yeh amrapali ayi aur jam ke baith gayi...so much that she reigned supreme for 2 long years...and she became the most imp character of the show shadowing even the lead couples as she is the puppeteer ... got maximum screen presence and everytime she won !! so much for a mere plot device😲 !

I trudged along season 1 until the bleh episode where Tanveer drugs Asad and makes it look like they did the deed. I jumped ship that fateful day and never looked back. I had so many favorite scenes in the golden era of QH. The mazaar scene, asad storming out of the hospital followed by his interaction with his father to name a few. (I just saw the first 10 episodes again yesterday). The dialogues were so WELL written. Sad what became of it. It had the perfect amounts of murder mystery and romance elements going for it. It would've have been the perfect mini series. Alas! it was not to be.

PS: The Hobbit is set 60 years before LOTR. Legolas is young, cocky and arrogant, unlike how he is in LOTR. It's perfect when you imagine how the intervening years, starting from the end of The Hobbit eventually change him up until the beginning of LOTR. (Elves are immortal, unless slain in battle.) Don't even get me started on Thranduil. I could go on and on. But this is not the place.

PPS: All the talk of Armitage made me want to watch North and South again. *Sigh* It never gets old.

honestly speaking each episode from the beginning to asya reconciliation after tanv's temporary exit was and still is my fav...yaa with some conspicuous exception like fake SR epi and overtly tannu drama epis...but after that the storyline went blah and became worse after ksg's exit. I still watch those episodes over and over whenever I feel like having my time with Mr.-impossible-to-forget-Khan😆 if they had made it finite series serial or like a planned season wala show like they do in english shows it would have been perfect. here tho, whenever they r cluseless they kill the leads and take a leap and say ok, end of this season. ridiculous !

Nah.. Saw the first 10 episodes then stopped. Must say i really liked the casting for Dilshad and Zoyas sister, Zeenat.

PS: In todays episode, when Mahira is ordering Azad to turn around and he finally does turn around, he does it in this imperious, head tilted way that is very reminiscent of Thorin. It's this split second resemblance..
