I thought I should write something... It's going to be mix of different aspects. I couldn't help but stumble across the movie; "Beauty and The Beast" and associate it with our SaHil. So many similarities...

An arrogant man turned into a believer of love. A woman who thought there were no love in the Jallad Jinn and soon enough her thoughts began to turn into admiration.
Belle: "I want adventure in the great wide somewhere! I want it more than I can tell."
Beast: ".. For who could ever learn to love a beast?.."
They were both very strong willed yet had a hint of insecurity in them.
His real concern was only if anyone would ever love a man with a haunted past. To look beyond his flaws. To look beyond his wealth and status.. To look at him for what he was..
Sanam wanted to explore things in the city. Make a Dhaba and run her own business. She believed in herself and knew the difference between right and wrong. Knew what values meant in her life.
This is where their story began. Right where their paths collided and realized that they wanted in each other. Perhaps not out of love at first, but something else... It was not by choice in the beginning but soon developed into a deep kind of love.
".. take me instead. Would you let him go?"
"Yes, but you must promise to stay here forever."
"You have my word."
"Done!"
This is quite similar so the scene where Aahil pays for Dilshaad's treatment and make her stay in the Ibrahim Haveli, in order to pay him back. He simply wanted to own her. Just the way Beast demanded in front of Belle.
".. well you shouldn't have been in the west wing!"
"Well you should learn to control your temper. Now hold still. This might sting a little. By the way thank you for saving my life."
"..You're welcome."
They began to understand each other in a deeper level. Sanam saw a caring son, brother and even a Nawab. He was much more than just a man with high status. He wanted the best for its people. He could be a rough person but it was only a facade.
Aahil began to care about Sanam. Much more than he even allowed himself. He began to question his existent and thought he could do so much more than what he thought.. He could save a life - which had a bigger impact on his soul than he thought.
"I want to do something for her... but what?"
"He's no monster, Gaston; you are!"
Soon these confused thoughts turned into admiration and then love. They could see each other's pasts and wanted to bring the best in each other. To become better for each other.
Aahil was taken by her beauty and nature. A person who could always notice something good in people. He dared to question himself; "Could she good in me? Could she see a man beyond his flaws?"
The answer was yes! She could. Sanam embraced his personality and ever so slowly.. He changed into a better person. For her. She was his life. His light in the darkness. He was her support. Her guidance.
So he changed himself for the woman he loved. He started to question the sudden rush of his heartbeat whenever his eyes would glance at Sanam.
He would keep loving her no matter what. He would keep fighting the world in order to conquer her love.
Sanam taught the world to look beyond someone's appearance and seek the person inside. To bring out the real person, who we have hidden away for the rest of the world.. ARI was only hers to see. He belonged to her. And always will.
Their love was real.. Their love was passionate.. Their love was pure.. That's why it was kept away from the world and led into a place far away... where only love would surround them. Guide them. Protect them. Together to eternity.
Mohabbat Jise Baksh De Zindaagni, Nahi Maut Par Khatm Uski Kahani...
Now, I know all of you have heard me quoting these words many times and I have a reason for it too. It's fits perfectly to them - it belong to SaHil! I remember listening to the song last year and thinking; "Love will save them from falling apart. It will save their darkened souls. This will be the only thing they can hold on to. Have faith into."
Their love shall last for an eternity. In my mind Aahil and Sanam are wandering around the City of Bhopal with gentle smiles on their faces. Hands entwined, holding on to their promise, that they will be together till the end. This is the closure I missed.
Milgayi Unhe Manzil... Mohabbat ki manzil...
.. Tale as Old as Time... Just Just Like Their Mohabbat ki Dastaan. A Nawab's Love For His Begum. A Begum's Admiration For Her Nawab.
