Chapter 4

Asad pov:

Finally we reached the pub and i already gulped down three tequila shorts .'emm so you loved her' , dint you figure out that ethen ?i ask annoyed. then why did you two breakup asad? Actually things are quite different back in india ,amaira is a hindu cultured girl and im muslim ,and intercaste marriages are still a taboo in india. Her parents were rigid minded and her mother was suffering from breast cancer she thought she will not make it to the wedding ,so amaira was emotionally blackmailed and got married to some other guy of her community.

And can you believe it was for her i shifted here, but its high time i go back , i cannot leave my mother at my sisters place for life, my sister is now married and has to handle her new born kid also.

I shared my past with ethen for the very first time in 2 yrs ,i don't know if he would understand ,though having a steady girlfriend he had n flings, but my love was pure and innocent. Amaira is she is happy with her life, is there any hope we could be back, does her husband love her as much as i did ,is he good in bed ,err that boils me to think.

I find ethen coming up with three girls and then a girl hooks up with me ,she ask me for a smoke and then we find a corner ,i was already high and was trying hard not to stare at her navel then she sits on the plank exposing her thighs even more , so tell me how is IN-DI-EY she ask in her Brittan accent .its a nice place you should do come, so you take me ?? i would love it and she chuckled . she pulled me down on the plank and in seconds i could feel her lips on mine,her hands fidgeting with my shirt buttons , my hands land on her back and in a jerk i pushed her away 'im sorry gracy or tracy i cant do that' i managed to whisper breathing heavily and returned back to the pub not finding my so called gang ,i moved out to find a taxi . i don't know why i couldn't do that one night stand , i only hope that girl tracy or gracy i still couldn't get that right but hope she doesn't think im a gay i muttered annoying way back home maybe the last night in this home .

Amaira pov:

So how about the leapmoon restaurant or purpleleaf ? aditya asked me but for no use he would defiantly decide his very choice and it dint even matter me anymore ,its not that i don't love or something, its just im habituated of people taking decisions for my life.

Right from my childhood life to my married life its all been their decision ,how i wish mom dint suffer from breast cancer, it was for her i married adi but mom was a fighter she had four tissue infected but she dint lose her courage i admire her but still cant get over the fact its because of her im away from my love .later that night we had sex and i was very aggressive this time ,aditya was amused by my sudden style but recovered and kissed me back with passion matching to mine, this was one of the best sex we had after a long time and all through time i was only thinking about ASAD!

Asad pov :

As soon as i reached my room ,i lay flat on my bed trying to recall the past years when i hear my phone ring will caller id ayaan being displayed on it .'yes ayaan the flight is scheduled tomorrow night and i will hopefully reach Mumbai by early morning on Sunday ,yeah all set see you soon man.' And finally sleep engulfed me in the warm embrace.

Next day:

I so very love your terrace zoya its such a amazing calm place with the sea view and so very spacious. Humeria hummed with her closed eyes sitting on the beanbag and her hands and feet set loose, wind gushing over her face .indeed my terrace was a lovely place with all the vintage lamps and climbers which i managed to decorate ."yes its very calm ,especially in the evenings "i reply sipping my coffee. "But not to forget humeria im even blessed with the landlady who is my mom's spy agent ,i mean she really needs to get a life ,remember the last time she told mom that i was hanging out with my office guy at wee hours and mom was so excited that finally she can get me hitched to someone"

Yeah i know she is pretty annoying sometimes ,but you are lucky you are still single and can enjoy life unlike my routine life.

I don't know whats with humeria she is having a very happy life wonderful kids and not to forget most loving husband ,but still unsatisfied shrugging my thoughts away my mind wanders with the words single''hitched' love' husband' and then my thoughts draft towards asad the first time i saw him.

Flashback

Ayaan ..ayaan i yelled at the top of my voice ,humeria where is ayaan i need to talk to him right know ,how could he just..forget it where is he?? Humeria pointed towards her bedroom door. I barged in the room to find a figure standing near the window staring at nothing, i was so high in temper that i failed to notice the features of this man failed to resemble ayaan.

What do you think ayaan ? how could you tell mom that you will get me married in few months that too with your cousin and told her to hide the fact from me you are just ...err freaking and i sat down on the bed taking a deep breath i asked

"hey what have you down with your hairs ,its kinda different , you are annoying me are you even listeing" i caught hold of shirt from back and jerked him to face me and then i gasp in horror and move back to hit and the window and fall back to his torso ,and then my eyes get locked with a pair of black orbs ,his eyes were moist some unknown pain, something broken and shattered in him.

I land my hands on the fabric of his shirt and i could feel his hands wound around my back, my palm could sense his heartbeat ,which were making a havoc within me, his intense eyes were staring me amusedly . "ayaan" escaped from my mouth when i could feel him loosen his grip around me .

Actually ayaan is in the washroom ,im asad his friend ,i was kinda lost dint see you coming sorry' and then he walked out hurriedly from the room, i still wonder why was he so sad ,but i never managed to ask him as it would be very intruding, though we meet a couple of times before he left for his work in states.

Present:

Biding a goodbye to all my friends , i finally hug ethen as he pats my back .all the luck man ,see you soon in india.

I smiled warmly ,yeah sure ethen i would be waiting. I would defiantly miss him,as he was the closest of all.

these hours of journey seemed years i cant wait to be back in my country , though my company would be offering me guest house in Mumbai ,ayaan has insisted that i should stay at his place ,as we don't really share a formal bond i agreed instantly.

On reaching the airport i scan the bookstore and find tiara' magazine ,the one for which zoya works i purchase the book and flip the pages to find zoya's article there is her pictiure printed in which she looks fantastic, maybe she had a makeover after i left from india.
