Epilogue
6 years later Delhi
After asad proposing zoya, they were engaged and married within a year and last month celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary with their son of 4yrs old and twin daughters who were three months old.
Asad had shifted back to bopal and now owned his own construction industry named dilshad constructions, zoya had quit her job in tiara and now started her own magazine "vogue " which emerged as a popular magazine within 6months of publishing. Dilshad started a NGO to support the underprivileged children and widows.
As zoya parents were celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary, asad along with zoya and children went to visit them and planned a month stay as zoya terrible missed being with them and thought children would spend time with their grand parents. while dilshad left to bopal after their anniversary celebration as she had few pending work of her new NGO which need to be attended.
At home:
After sending few important mails to the office account , she checked her magazine official page and read few comments on her articles. she smiled in satisfaction and felt proud finally she was doing what she wanted to do. Stretching her muscles she turned back to see her father and son ahil busy playing video game, while her father was busy struggling to cope up with ahil and ahil was laughing because he was winning continuously.
Then she moved to her ammi room to check on her daughters, sanam was sleeping and seher the naughty one was busy throwing her hands and legs in the air while her ammi was sitting admiring them. Zoya stood enjoying the moment.
"arey zoya when did you come? Done with your work" she came and sat on the bed beside her ammi hugging her sideways and placing her head on her shoulder " yeah ammi" she kissed her cheek.
"okay then go call your handsome husband, I'll tell meena (helper) to set the table ready for dinner " " ammi you know how embarrassed he gets when you tease him " "he gets embarrassed that's why I tease him" "aww my poor husband " " yeah I know poor guy, deals with you everyday " "ammi how mean " she said getting grumpy "what ammi I even know your guys are fighting since a week, but it's okay its between you two" "ammi you know you're the super cool mom anybody can have" she winks and both laugh heartedly.
She walks to her room to find asad having a phone conversation, her smile immediately vanishes and becomes grumpy. She removes the clothes placed on the bed and puts them in the wardrobe while she felt asad hugging her from back and kissing her cheek. She removed his hands from waist and pushed him aside and walked past him when he held her hand
"zoya stop being childish it's been two weeks since your no sex rule "he said annoyed "oh ya and what about you " she removed the pillow and threw on him. "arey I told you 100 times I was just helping her with the seat belt " "acha then why do you think airhostess are they for?" "when she asked me to help what do you expect from me" "yeah I expect you to be perfect gentleman help her and then kiss her " "I told you I dint kiss her " he said sitting on the bed while she stood with her hands on her hip. "she kissed you, what's a big deal " "yeah big deal she kissed me on cheek as a thank-you gesture America's do that. " "oh now your sad that she kissed you on cheek okay wait America's do that, so how many kissed you in America " she was red with angry. "god zoya you know how silly you are " " yeah obviously you would find me silly and everybody else attractive " "I never meant that " " go to hell, I just came to tell ammi called you for dinner " she barged out leaving a bewildered asad.
After dinner asad finally tucked ahil in bed after reading him a story and kissed his forehead. Ahil looked exactly like asad with dark brown orbs and sharp jaw bones but his character was replica of zoya naughty and annoying , he admired his little champ and prayed his daughters would not inherit zoya's craziness otherwise he would definitely go retarded dealing three insane ladies. He chuckled at his thought and moved to his bedroom.
Zoya finally fed her twins and carried them to her parents room and tucked them " ammi here is the milk bottle and water. Don't give seher too much water she will puke, seher would wake up after 2 hours give her the milk and then change their diaper or should I change now" she said placing the bottle on the table "zoya baby I know because you keep telling me this every night " she smiled and kissed her babies. "zoya see I kept the albums there put them in your suitcase again you would yell at me telling I misplaced " "ya mom" she said picking up the album's and walked to her room.
She entered her room and saw the laptop half open placed on the bed. She could hear the shower running assuming asad showering she removed the laptop to keep on the side table but later opened the laptop and being a detective checked the recent site. She danced with happiness when she saw that asad has been designing her new office for vogue. She had told him few months ago that she wants to open a new office with renovated dcor, nearby to the lake road so wanted to apply for a loan but asad told her to wait for few months after her delivery they would decide. "he remembers and he himself is designing aww my husband " she mumbled looking at the bathroom door.
She placed the album's on the table, then picked up a album which had memories engraved on the cover page, it was a small album with few photos which zoya treasured together ,she then sat opening the album, her treasured memories. First picture was her engagement picture which took place in mumbai, she was standing with asad and her bestie haider and aisha. Haider was finally married and shifted to London. Aisha was blessed with a baby girl and had started her own clothing line and happily settled with her husband in Mumbai.
The next picture was of her wedding she was standing with asad, dilshad her parents and ya asad's sister najma her son and husband. "My perfect family " she said caressing the picture. Another picture was at her wedding with ayaan and humeria . Humeria was still married to ayaan maybe she had compromised with life. Asad and zoya never mentioned anything to ayaan they thought it wasn't appropriate. Zoya is still in touch with them but asad choose to stay away as he din want things to get awkward. Their was another wedding picture of them with ethen and his girlfriend, ethen was totally smitten by India and its culture so he finally decided to get hitched to his girlfriend in an Indian style wedding.
Then saw her honeymoon pictures when they went for Paris as per her wishes. She chuckled at the picture where she was busy admiring the Eiffel tower and asad busy admiring her.
Then flipped few pictures and saw the picture which was selfie clicked by her, the day when she told him she was pregnant, the day was a roller coaster ride the day before she lied to him telling she had business visit but she went to meet amaira, she knew somewhere asad was guilty that amaira and her husband were facing problem because of him. She wanted to free him from that guilt before their entered new phase of life.
Amaira welcomed zoya, she had told that she had returned back to her husband and now aditya had finally moved on from her past. She was expecting a baby in the few month, zoya was delighted and then wished her happiness. When she confessed this to asad he was shocked, surprised, happy and thankful all together, he broke down into tears telling how blessed he was to have her in his life and now to welcome their first child.
Another picture was her baby shower where she was sitting all decked up with gifts and najma leaning and kissing her cheek "aww how much I miss you tamater" she said looking at the pic. Next picture was taken during the inauguration of dilshad constructions, how stressed those days were when asad worked all day and busy taming her tantrums during night as she was in her last trimester. She turned the page and chuckled at the photo it was taken on ahil's first day at school. Unlike other children ahil was very excited and happy to go to school in his place there was zoya and dilshad crying on how big aahil has grown while asad had a hard time consoling them.
she heard the washroom door open to see her husband coming out only wearing shorts and wiping her torso with the towel.
His was still the geek god who would make her knee go weak "babies slept " he asked putting the towel on the bed and grabbing a shirt to wear she walked to him and hugged him. "hey your crying " "no I'm not" "what you're pregnant again" he asked puzzled " no stupid" "no actually last time you did the same scene" he said smiling nervously.
"hehe you're so cute " "I'm not cute " "oh ya my husband is sexy" she said drawing circles on his chest "I know that's why you find it hard to resist me and keep staring at me" he said pulling her even close and whispering huskily. "you're my husband, I own you" she said opening his shirt buttons which were half done. "somebody is too desperate today ha" he said giving her evil grin "more than you can imagine " "and what about your no sex rule" "chunk the rule" saying she kissed him hard. He carried her to the bed and got on top, she hadn't lost much of her pregnancy weight, her bosoms were full and her pregnancy marks and curves made her even more desirable.
How long does it take to heal a broken heart? Can you ever forget that one perfect relationship you had? For him it was a yes, zoya was the heal of his broken heart. He entered her, as she cried his name in pleasure. He kissed the tear drop that rolled down her cheek "I love you zoya " he mumbled more to himself as they lay in each other arm's embracing their life.
