One thing is clear after watching Qubool Hai for the past 2 years. There is only ONE person who has power to change the story and the direction of the story! That one person is called "Amarpali Gupta" aka, Tanveer, Billo Rani, Begum Sahiba, Misbah Syed, or Shashi Kapoor!
SHE is literally a CAT! A "Cat" with 90 lives, not 9! In Season 1, Tanveer was a "cameo". Just like Nida in Season 2, she was supposed to further the plot. That was it. But NO. Once Nisha Nagpal left, and Amrapali Gupta took over playing Tanveer, suddenly, the story started to revolve around her. Eventually the show was all about the "Hate story" of Zoya and Tanveer! Finally Tanveer emerged the "victor" of Season 1. She killed everyone that got in her way, and only she was left standing.
Enter Season 2: She re-emerges with a new identity and a new gig. "Begum Sahiba" the Nawab Begam of Bhopal. In all intents and purposes, she has killed her husband, and only after his money. She has her step son brainwashed and totally beholden to her. Being blind and blinded by greed, she mistakenly gets her son married to Sanam.The daughter of her arch rival Zoya! When she finds this out, she goes all postal and wants to get rid of her! THEN started the "Hate story" of Sanam and Begum Sahiba. This time Sanam won the battle but unfortunately now she is facing a war! Tanveer left behind someone that would make sure that Sanam's life once again gets messed up. She gets seperated from her sister and also her husband, courtesy of Sanam 2, who was Begum Sahiba's "parting gift!" AGAIN, even in death, she managed to win!
Season 3: Tanveer comes with another life as her daughter Misbah. (fake identity she has adopted. We dont even know what her real name is). All we know is her ALIAS "Shashi Kapoor". She is a terrorist who is wanted by 14 countries. Tanveer's daughter is MILES ahead of even her Mom! Once again, the story is ALL about her! This whole Pakistan track was set up, for the sole purpose of introducting Tanveer's daughter to the story! Shaad is just the "Bali Ka Bakara" they used to bait people. The story is ALL about Fake Misbah aka Tannu Jr. Once again we see Sanam as "Jannat" and Tannu Jr as "Misbah" facing off. This is now the "Hate story" of Sanam aka Jannat and Misbah aka Shashi Kapoor!
Male leads are just bait and props in this story. They come and go and they are dime a dozen. The only thing that remains is Amra and SJ and the HATE STORY of their two characters. As I was watching the episode from last night and I saw the "conversation" between Jannat and Misbah, I was having DEJA VU of Zoya and Tannu. Same insulting dialogues and cat fights etc. Nothing new. Even the actresses are the same. Only a new "prop" has been brought in to occasionally stand between them!
Season 1 prop - Asad
Season 2 prop - Aahil
Season 3 prop - Shaad and maybe Aahil 2 as well.
But PROP they are nevertheless. Already Shaad has little to do but be sandwiched between his Fake ex fiancee and his fake new wife! Bechara! Just like Asad was stuck between his lady love and his best friend, and Aahil between his nasty step mum and pretty cute wife! These CV's actually are the worst out there. Not ONE original idea. This show started as the story of Zoya. Morphed into the story of Tanveer. Then it was supposed to be the story of Sanam. But again it was all about Tanveer! Now finally when she died, her 2nd life is back, and the story is ALL about her AGAIN!
So conclusion is, only Amarpali Gupta has power in QH. The power to change the story, the tracks and even the ENTIRE narrative! ALL hail the CAT QUEEN! LOL
