It was hinted in Promo 3 n Part 5 dat Anu has no blood relation wid Razia n Humeira but she Gaffur is her step-dad n Razia is Gaffur's 1st wife. Razia n Humeira loves Anu a lot. Several horrible things have happened in d past due to which Razia secretly sent Anu to NY.

I think u missed Promo 4. Asad does not wants to marry Heeba but its Anu's mu as she did not heard his entire talk wid Rashid. So, she wants to marry Imraan to hurt him.
