hello everyone...here goes the next chapter...its a short one. i promise you another on on Saturday..

CHAPTER 7

"Miss Farooqui?"

She swung around to the s**tty voice, and saw her with a perfect figure.

"Yes I am Zoya Farooqui," Zoya said. "And you?"

"Tanveer Baig, Mr. Khan's assistant. Will you come to my office, please? I believe Mr. Khan has not explained to you what your duties in the inauguration of Dilshad 's Star are?"

"He did tell me but he was a bit vague."

"Mr. Khan is never vague." miss s**tty replied between her teeth...oh the feeling is mutual.

"He was to me. He told me to look in the menu. But he didn't go into details."

"Then I'll have to go through everything with you. You have to be careful about everything. We can't tolerate carelessness, this is about Asad's prestige and he never let anyone play with it." she ordered, now i get why Najma was saying that there may be something between Mr Khan and her

"I'll send you a list of what you need to do."Tanveer rose to her feet as Mr khan entered,

"hey Asad," why was she being so personal, "I have told Miss Farooqui what her duties are, so she can start right away. She told me that you asked her to look into food, well she is good at that. Isn't it miss dhabewali" Cold eyes examined Zoya from top to toe. I was shocked by that statement and Mr Khan did not even say anything. So it's true then they are an item and i...just an intern

"ok when you are finished come in my office, Tanveer. We need to finalize on the theme as well." Asad responded to his pet and left the 2 women who continued to glare at each other

"If there is anything you need to know, please come to me. And remember this is an office and you cannot pull stunts like you did yesterday" Billy continued

Zoya whipped out and closed the door, almost knocking Tanveer over. "Whoops!" she gasped. "Sorry"

"So you should be. what do you think of yourself?"

"Did I hurt you? I am really..."

"I am not talking about your clumsiness or your rudeness," Tanveer hissed "but your stupidity in addressing to Asad. I thought you were made clear he wasn't to be bothered with stupid interns. You are not evenin such standard to talk to him. You are just a temorary intern, so learn your work and get out, stop looking for attention from your boss, understood."

"I am fully aware that you are Mr. Khan's assistant and i just an intern but when he addressed to me, he didn't inform me I'd have to report to you, so you have no right ordering me around. And i would not stand here to listen to your crap."

"How dare you talk to me like that, you... you little nothing?"

"I am as polite to you as you are to me," Zoya replied and stalked off, deliberately pushing Tanveer in the process.

"Oh you don't know me miss intern, but you would and i would make sure that you stay out of my way. You cannot come between me and asad...oh no i have worked too hard to get to him. Not a little twerp will ruin everything. Just wait and watch how i make your life miserable."

zoya was walking carelessly in the corridor cursing Tanveer when she bumped into Asad Ahmed Khan...

"can't you watch where you are going...oh sit...sorry Mr kha-aan"

"Bossy little thing, aren't you?"

"well Tanveer is bossy and she is tall as a bean pole and you do not seem to have any problem with that."

" you don't like her much, do you?" asad smiled at her obvious jealousy

"trust me, It's mutual."

"It's part of her job to see everything here runs smoothly, and if she orders you around it's because she thinks it's necessary."

"Is it necessary to be unpleasant?"

"It's her way, she is a first class assisstant and works non stop."

"oke-y, i don't need to hear you defending her so see ya..." and zoya walked to her cubicle

"so you are jealous zoya...let's see where that leads us to" asad thought happily
