Chapter 1

Duke took the old lady to the sitting area, they both sat down on the chairs.

Duke: "Okay where did we leave off."

The old lady was just looking at him

Duke: "Oh yeah I remember, it was the night of the carnival, Asad was there with his friend Ayaan and Humeria"

Old lady: "Asad?"

Duke: "That is where they met, Zoya was 17 years old."

Flashback: Duke(Asad) reading from the notebook

Ayaan was playing a game at the carnival, Asad was standing to the side watching him play, the game attendant pointed towards Ayaan

Game-attendant: "and the winner is this guy"

The game attendant handed him the prize, which was a teddy bear, Ayaan walked towards Asad

Ayaan: "Man, I smashed that thing really hard."

Ayaan and Asad walked over to the bumper cars, Humeira and Zoya were in different cars and bumping into each other, they were having so much fun, Humeria and Zoya couldn't stop laughing, Asad saw the girl laughing

Asad: "Who is this girl with Humeria."

Ayaan: "Oh that Zoya Farooqui, she is here for the summer with her family, her Dad got more money than anyone else."

Humeria spotted Ayaan and Asad standing near the exit, She waved at them and screamed

Humeria: "Hi Ayaan."

Ayaan screamed

Ayaan: "Hi honey,look I got you a prize."

He waved the teddy bear in the air, Humeria screamed

Humeria: "Oh my god how sweet, thank you."

While this conversation was going on, Asad could stop staring at Zoya, she was laughing and smiling showing her dimples. The ride was done Zoya and Humeria got off the ride, This boy that was on the ride came towards Zoya and said

Boy: "Hey you don't look like a girl from here, would you like me to show you around we could eat cotton candy while we are at it."

Humeria looked at Zoya and showed her with her eyes that she should go with the boy and enjoy herself, Asad saw this he came towards Zoya

Asad: "You want to dance with me."

Zoya looked towards him

Zoya: "Excuse me"

Asad: "I said do you want to dance with me."

Zoya: "Umm No."

Asad: "Why not"

Zoya: "Because I don't want to."

The boy that asked her to show her around spoke

Boy: "She is with me so back off guy."

The boy looked towards Zoya

Boy: "Hey you want to go on the Ferris wheel."

Zoya wrapped her around the boys arm and looked at Asad and smiled a wide one

Zoya: "I would love to."

Boy: "All right then lets go."

They walked away, and Asad saw them leaving.

Humeria catched up to Zoya, who was looking back at Asad

Humeria: "He is Asad Khan, he works with Ayaan."

Zoya: "Oh, did you see how he was standing like two inches away from my face."

Humeria: "Yeah I saw, That is Asad though."

Both of them looked over at him

Humeria: " You know, Im surprised he even came over to you, I think he likes you."

Zoya and the Boy was on the Ferris wheel,Asad was standing on the ground and was looking at her and she was looking at him, she looked towards the boy and smiled at him and held his arm, Asad saw this and smirked, When the seat that they were sitting on came to the ground Asad ran towards it and jumped on to the seat and tried to make room for himself

Boy: "What jerk."

Zoya: "Get off me."

The Ferris wheel got up to the air, he sat in between them

Zoya: "What are you doing."

The guy that was operating the ride screamed

The operator: "You cant do that."

Asad: "Ill pay you when I get down."

Asad turned towards Zoya and held out his hands

Asad: "Im Asad Khan."

Zoya was looking at him confused

Zoya: "So?"

Asad: "So it's really nice to meet you."

The boy was looking at them

Boy: "Who is this guy."

Zoya: "I dont know. Asad Khan."

Asad ingnored the boy that was sitting next to him

Asad: "I would like to take you out."

Boy: "Friend do you mind?"

The operator stopped the ride

operator: "No more than two people in a seat."

Asad: "Okay, all right."

Asad stood up and hanged him self on to the bar of the Ferris wheel.

Humeria was in the seat behind them she saw this and she screamed

Humeria: "Get down, Asad, you are going to kill yourself."

The operator saw him hanging on the Ferris wheel

Operator: "Cut it off, get down now."

Asad ignored them both and continued looking at Zoya

Asad: "Now, will you go out with me?"

Zoya: "What? No."

Boy: "Hey pal, she just told you."

Asad: "Why not?"

Zoya: "I don't know, because I don't want to."

Humeria screamed

Humeira: "Asad"

Asad ignored her

Asad: "All right, well, you leave me no choice then."

Asad left one hand and he was left hanging with only one arm, Zoya screamed looking at him

Humeria: "Im not kidding Asad, stop fooling around."

Boy: "What are you doing."

Operator: "Grab the bar you are going to get injured."

Asad: "I'm going to ask you one more time, will you or will you not go out with me?"

Humeria: "Asad are you nuts."

Asad: "Goddamn my hand's slipping."

Humeria: "Then grab the bar you idiot."

Asad: "not unitll she agrees."

Ayaan screamed

Ayaan: "Just go out with him Zoya"

Zoya: "Okay, fine I'll go out with you."

Boy: "What?"

Asad: "No, don't do me any favors."

Zoya: "No, no I want to."

Boy: "You want to"

Zoya: "Yes!!"

Asad: "say it"

Zoya: "I want to go out with you."

Asad: "say it again"

Zoya screamed

Zoya: "I want to go out with you."

Asad grabbed the bar

Asad: "Alright Alright we'll go out."

Asad chuckled

Zoya: "Oh you think you're so smart, don't you?"

Humeira: "That wasn't funny Asad, you idiot."

Zoya looked down at Humeria

Zoya: "No, its okay. Ill take care of this"

Zoya leaned forward and went towards Asad belt and clutched it open

Asad: "What are you doing, Please don't do that Zoya, cant believe this."

Zoya pants him and he was hanging there with his pants to his knees and in his boxers.

Zoya: "Haha"

Ayaan and Humeria was laughing at him

Zoya crossed her arms together

Zoya: "You're not so cocky now, are you?" ahha

Asad: "I am going to get you for that."

Zoya: "Maybe you will, maybe you won't"
