Chapter 7.
As we walked out of the hotel, i suppose, I looked up and I stood there shocked!
Kohinoor?
Oh god, that's one of the top hotel + restaurant present over here. Okay, as my initial shocked subsided, I looked up at him as he handed the car keys to the valet. He drove at the front with an R8. I raised my eyebrows and smirked.
R8 eh? Great!
- Nice car sir.
He spoke.
Hell yeah, that is an amazing car and I can say that well coz I own one. I smiled at him as he opened the door for me - a perfect gentleman he is. I sat in the car as he went to sit in the driver seat.
He drove as I gave him instructions to my house. The car stopped infront of the apartment and I smiled at him. He leaned towards me as he kissed my cheek. My eyes shut down as I enjoyed the feeling of his lips lingering on my cheek.
- See you tonight, beautiful.
He whispered in my ear as he kissed at the back of my ear.
I hummed.
Passing a smile at him as I made my way toward the apartment. I waved at him as he drove away. As he said, the door was locked. I took the key from the back of the mail box as I entered inside.
I flopped down on the couch leaning back, my eyes closed seeking for some rest. Eventhough I rested too much last night but then, it is just so tiring around him.
My rest was disturbed by the ringing of the bell. My eyes darted to the wall clock.
Sh*t! Its 1 already.
Yawning, I stood up as I went to open the door. Standing over there was Anwar. My eyes hardened ad I recalled the encounter from yesterday.
I closed the door immediately, not even wanting to see his face. Things were now weird between us and whtever he might do, will never change that. I took deep breaths as I went in Seher's room to took some things. I opened up a drawer as I took what I had wanted to - A Hair straightener. I had too, but mine got brutally damaged by one friend of mine.
As I sat on the bed, I wondered where Seher is. Had she been even around after last night? I picked up my phone as I dialed her.
- Hey seh, where are you?
I asked as she picked up the call.
- Who is it?
I heard a voice of a girl - certainly not seher's.
- Uh, I am her sister.
- Oh, finally! Miss, thats alisha from The WS hospital, your sister was admitted here after last night when she and a guy was found badly beaten around the street of her house. She has not gained concious yet, if you might come?
She spoke as my heart stopped beating literally!
- Ye..Yes, I will be there.
My voice was shaky as I tried composing my voice. Tears filled my eyes as I grabbed my car keys as I drive to the hospital.
My heart constricted as all the negative thoughts filled my mind.
No, no, no! Nothing will happen to Seher. Calm down, Sanam. She will be fine.

I chanted the same thing again and again in my head.
As I reached the hospital, I dashed out of the car and ran to the reception.
- Seher, seher ahmed khan.
I spoke to the girl at the reception.
- First floor, third room, ma'am.
I ran towards the room. Peeking inside the room, I saw her lying lifelessly on that hospital bed. Tears pooled my eyes as I sat in the waiting room for any news. Here, my sister was fighting and there I was enjoying. I felt guilty for not being there for my sister when she needed me the most.
Tears flowed down my eyes mindlessly as sobs escaped my lips. I covered my mouth with my palm as I sobbed.
My phone rang and rang and rang. I didn't picked up any of the call. I did not want to. And then my patience broke as I picked up the call.
- Why the hell were you not picking up my calls, Sanam?
I heard as someoneone yelled. My mind was so occupied that I didn't even recognised the voice.
- I have been calling you for so long sanam? Where are you? It's seven already, we were supposed to be out tonight sanam.
Sh*t! Its Ahil.
- Ahil?
My voice was weak and shaky due to the continuous crying. I never knew it was seven already. How long had I been here? There is still no news yet.
- Sanam? Are you crying? Hey, what is it? Tell me where you are? I will come over there.
