He had to do dat cuz he knows dat she has gone crazy wid all d beatings n humiliations n if she reveals his secret to all then 1st they vl trouble her for speaking about their son like dat n later they vl trouble him if they know his truth. More than himself he is saving 4m GaZia's wrath
