For all those who blame creatives and characters

Hi friends,

I guess many from this forum know me but i have been away from it since long and i also miss many of my friends here and also miss some of the wonderful posts by them...Actually i was busy with my shifting and studies...so couldnt come here but i never missed watching QH...

So beign a member who came back to the forum after long time (that was two days back) i was surprised to see the cureent situation of this forum...

My question is- WHERE DID THE POSITIVITY OF THIS FORUM GO ?????

1. I saw many posts which exeeded more than 10 pages that too only for bashing a character, what surprised me is till today none of the posts had much pages where they were praised...

2. Now-a-days they even forget to mention little good things that happen in the show, only they do is to look at the negative side of everything

3. I dont find any good posts other than some articles...everywhere bashing and criticising...some bashing and some defending

There were many in this forum who used to maintain positivity but i feel sad that there are no posts made saying something good and all those kind of disaaperaed from the forum...but after reading many of the posts i couldnt resist myself from making one...may be its because of my love towars qh...

Infact im a 22 year student studying in film institute pune (you may have heard its name) and my subjects are direction and screenplay writing , so I think I wil be able to clear many of your doubts regarding the flaws that we claim that a show have...

I was a regular visitor of this forum and I started my course from this year...so there were a lot of doubts and I very well knew the mentality of the viewers and also as my subject is the same I asked my lecturer...

''Sir, if you know what the audience want, then why don't you go according the way they want".

This was the question that many of the forum members oftenly ask here.. Do you know what answer he gave me -

" We should definitely know what the viewers want and what not, but we should never follow them, if we do so then we will loose our creativity, then whats of use of opting for such profession when we follow what others say" He also said that we shld definitely know our viewers choice but what we give them should be something that they never think, not what they want...even they don't enjoy it ''

I think people should know about it atleast we should know that every makers cannot go according to veiwers choice and thats the reason after 6months to 1 year every show starts going down the drain because after that they need to go by veiwers choice,if not the trps will drain and audeince will never give a chance for them to show what they needed to...

Actually this was the suggestion given by one of our lecturers (actually he is a renowed director and was a part of one of the successful shows on television 5 years back) and he also admitted that there were many stages and tracks to which the audeince showed thumps down and what he said after that made us laugh " we only know that the track was not good only when the audeince rejected it" He said so because everyone takes same effort in every track but the result may be always not the same..

He always says this sentence by hitting his head - " Hum writers aur makers agar sune tho kis kiski sune- Audeince ki ya PH ki ya channel ka, kabhi kabhi hame apne dimag ka bhi sunne deejiye bhai "

He is such a lovely and lively humanbeign i have come across...Infact he appreciates us to watch serials and also jokes saying that - "Dekhlo bache dekho, kal tume bhi tho badla lena hein "

Comming to QH I thought that i would miss it after after comming here but for my luck here everyone watches TV from 9 to 10 and the most important part is that here the majority wins and so here everyone watches KB at 9 and QH at 10. thank god here none loves bb

So here out of 115 students 65-75 students prefer watching qh and now-a- days most of our dinner table conversations are regarding QH...infact after comming here i started loving QH even more,everyone loves qh here...As our subject is also the same,we often discuss a lot about shows ( I guess this is the only feild where lecturers dont scold us when we talk abt serials and films, infact they also join our discussions)

So two weeks back when the swap track started everyone here was soo exited to see how will be ahil's and seher's interaction...and surprisingly it was the same that we expected it to be...

Now-a-days we talk a lot about sunehri, infact we started doing research on her and different ways where her character can be explored (infact such discussions help us a lot and now each one of us has come up with a dozen of ways to proceed the story ...

surprisingly, the x factor here is none among us had a negative attitude towards sunehri, not even those who started watching now nor who have started watching it since its begining. so keeping all my colleuges opinions about the show, i came to the forum two days back and i was amazed to see such -ve comments about sunehri...seriously the comments in this forum not only dissapointed me but also my mates who are just loving sunehri nowadays...

Seriously there are many ,infact everyone here love sunehri (that doesnt mean that they hate sanam)...So after reading all those comments we had our answers for all those comments.

Infact can you even think, even our sirs talk about QH,i really felt proud when they talk about it. so me and my colleuges asked him whether its going in the ryte track and can you beleive we talked to him abt the track that is going on now...He always says if we talk abt shows then we will be able to know what should we do in the future and what not...

QH beign a famous show and our sir also knows gul directly,he shared his veiws with us...He also appreciated our dear surbhi and also said that she is doing a good job...he also said that " agar koi aur ladki hoti tho kab ka bodiya bisthar baandke chali gayi hoti '- i really felt proud of our angel when a senior director like him praised her. From that i came to know inspite of all ups and down QH is always the talk of the down...

So after hearing our sir's opinion and my fellow mates opinions and reading all those comments here i thought to share my veiws on the same...

1. Disliking track :

Here none of us dislike the current track, infact we are eagely waiting for the scenes where we can see sanam-seher in a single frame.

2. Comparing Sunehri with Tanveer :

Even though sunehri cons, and is a theif who does anything for money...presently she cannot be compared to tanveer ( leave about tanveer beign a murderer and did everything for money and slept with money) ...because tanveer is such a person who cheated her friend ( who trusted her than his lover and himself). a mother who loved her like a daughter and a friend like najma and zoya...

Did sunehri do any of these things to anyone...as far as i thing Stabbing a person to death far better than breaking someones trust and heart...Tanveer was such a girl who tried to kill her friends family,the second day of her entry that too for a doll...

I dont think sunehri will ever do that when sanam and ahil starts trusting her ( why later even now she doesn't agree to kill someone)...If sunehri does something like that then surely i will compare her to tanveer but for now i spare her..

3. Comparing Ahil and Seher with Zoya and Ayan

I compare them only by the relation they share and i also dont agree that this trak is better than zoyan, infact i dnt get any erk feeling watching zoyaan too...the only sad thing i felt was that zoya was not with asad,and the way they executed it...

but here even after watching ahil and seher scenes, none of us understood why you people are calling it romance...infact ,they dnt even have a hug nor a kiss...only massaging seher's hand and holding her cheek and cathing her from falling...how can we call that intimate or romance...

As far as i think , they never crossed the limits that should not be crossed and i strongly beleive that they never cross it

4. Sunehri's activities ;

Im not at all supporting sunehri's activities that she does, but i have only one question " Why are you expecting sunehri to be like sanam ". If sanam is doing all these things then we can bash her from left,right and centre but this is sunehri yaar...a CONWOMAN and this might not be the first time that she did this...even she faked with rehan but eventually dropped it wen she knew that he was good...even though that track was fast, i think it was a slow progression...so defenitely she shlould need something like that feeling for her to thnk twice

As far as i think Sunehri is such a theif who does anything for money but at the same time who herself has drawn a line of boundary which can never be crossed...

5. saying sunehri is asya's daughter

I nver pitied nor sympathasied her for this but i did it for the way she is...We say that people get 50% qualities from their blood and another 50% from their PARWARISH.

Here also all these conning, adla-badli is done by her is because of her backgroung and she only learnt that since chilhood, the way she was brought up by...

There were many incidents which proved the purity of her blood where she felt sad by seeing sanam in pain, kept back the money of the stranger and till today she dnt get intimate with ahil (not only ahil but also rehan whom she loved) and im sure she will not do that in future

Even though she is brought up in a bad surrounding " THE KHANDANI KHOON " in her will never make her do such mistakes which can never be forgiven.

I mean whatever she does like conning and all, it can be forgiven but if something like getting intimate with ahil happens, then that cannot be forgiven and i m sure it will never happen and for me that was also the purity of zoyan that they were pure at their hearts...

here you may ask here ahil loves sanam nd he may try to get intimate with her,he thinks that she is sanam. But here sunehri knows that she is not sanam and she knows what she shld not and she will never allow ahil to do such things and i dnt think ahil will do something without sanam's consent.

I also saw someone saying that Asad and Zoya would be turning in their graves by seeing their daughter but what i feel is they must be adoring their daughter because inspite of growing at a bad state with someone who doesnt care about dignioty who sell themselves...she never lost her dignity, even some is left within her...because for a girl nothing is more important than her "MAAN AND SAMMAN'

I think none of us should raise a finger on her character, unless she does something like that...because its easy to be a good girl when you grow up with good people who teach values and culture...but living with such a low class people and not loosing the dignity is something which has to be appreciated...

6. Sunehri's reaction to ahil

I alwys felt that sunehri's reaction towards ahil was just perfect, what it should be...because it was the same the reaction that we girls give when someone touches our hand in a crowded bus...but here she cannot react -vely, so she is trying to slid off him...thats the thing needed

Here everyone asked she should have known that before itself...yes ofcourse she knows it before but even though when someone touches,our reaction automatically changes...

What's wrong if she keep on avoiding him...she knows its only for a short period of time and in that time what he thinks,its none of her business...

Coming to sunehri careesing ahil's cheek in a seducing way...i dnt feel it cheap because when we saw that scene...some of my colleges laughed saying that we do this when we come late to the hostel...watch man ko patane ". It seriously dnt have any kind of erk feeling because all those girls they know the watch man and if girls talk to him softly and and caress his hands...There they know that he is a good man and there's no trouble for them...that doesn't mean that tomorrow for some other thing they would even share a bed with him...infact they dint even think about such a cheap think...

Here also sunehri did the same thing...she knows ahil is a nice man and such soft touches is enough for him to do whatever she says but that doesn't mean that she will also share a bed with him...All are just blindly judging her character even before she does that which is totally unacceptable...

7. Sunehri's care for sanam

First of all, Sunehri is here for a job and she definitely knows that sanam wholeheartedly wont accept anyone to take her place and as far as she think the same person from sanam's house kidnapped her and her own MIL is trying to kill her...When her own family can do all these to her then why she should think about sanam presently...

But the current equation will change soon when she will definitely have a softness towards towards sanam...she felt that when she hugged haya, then think once when she is with sanam...then what might she feel...Im actually waiting for that moment

Haya was just her cousin sister and dilshad is her grand mother...even though she felt that connection...Then think what would be the situation when she sees sanam with whom she spent nine months inside the womb and 2 years together...Afterall blood relation stands above everything...

So its just till sunehri meets sanam...then everything will change...she even warned razia for not treating dilshad properly when she is no one to here but here sanam is atleast her HUMSHAKAL yaar...she will definitely not spare razia when she knows she has been treating her badly...Here we can start bashing her if she continues to stay quite even after seeing sanam...

For now why should she show love to the stangers when no one loved nor cared for her...She dint cared for anyone till date nor anyone cared for her...

8. Ahil's love for sanam

Yes she can definitely see ahils love for sanam but as far i think we know after what all things sanam and ahil accepted each other...we know their stuggle but not sunehri...

For now , for sunehri, ahil is also like rehan who accepted his love to her and ahil also did all those what rehan did to sunehri...but rehan rejected her when he found that she lied to him...He forgot her within few days...

For sunehri ahil's love is also something which can diminish when sanam dos something wrong...For now she only saw sanam crying for ahil but saw nothing from ahil...she also cried for rehan but he dint give a shit...For now SAHIL' s love is nothing special for sunehri

To understand what ahil feels for sanam, she should know the depth of their relation and till that time, i don't think she will think abt uniting sanam and ahil until she know it but here she has been daily injected with -ve things abt sahil... and beign dejected she couldn't overcome her feelings and is doing such things what rehan thinks that she is...Please give her a little time, she will definitely think and all these things happened in just two days...

9. About TRP's

About trps now i strongly started believing that trps can never say that a show is good or bad...if then here all are saying that SIS-BIL marriage and couples get married to others are not accepted by the audience then how come shows like SNS always get good ratings and KB where also there are extra marital affais...so trps can never be couted...if it is good then ok,or else leave it...it has nothing to do with tracks but ha promption can help...

10. Sanam- Seher

So today after hearing many posts about surbhi getting unwell and seher's character to be eliminated...i asked my sir that " If i was in surbhi's place and they are asking me to cut down my one character, then what character should i opt " i also said that the Jodi is also soo polpular that people cannot accept any other face for it"

He said to me that if a actor chooses acting over popularity then she would definitely choose seher not sanam because that is a character which is totally different from others currently on television...so i suggest her to take seher over sanam...I even think think that surbhi also will be doing the same because above all she is a actresss and i don't think only because her Jodi with ahil is appreciated, she would give away a character like seher which has many possibilities to prove her mettle as a actress...

So i just wish that she would never have to face such situation and now i cannot accept any other girl other than surbhi neither in sanam's place nor seher.

Im not at all supporting seher that she is asya's daughter or she had a very bad childhood but we cannot even ignore the fact that kids grown up in such back ground will never become MOTHER INDIA unless in films that too in india...its just impossible

So im just supporting her for what she is today now...she also deserve to get everything that sanam got...but she has been rejected by every love and i strongly believe that she is such a character who has a lot of potential

Actually now hearing a lot of bashing on seher i remembered my old days here when everyone used to bash zoya and there also there were some who supported her including her...eventually everyone started loving her...The same thing happened 6 months back when everyone said that sanam was boring...at that tiime too i supported her seeing her positive side and now here everyone loves sanam...Indeed time changes everything and im also sure that everyone will love seher too...just a time of few weeks until her character gets completely explored...

This is coming from a fan who loved zoya , sanam and seher equally and above all love qh

So i just suggest that please try to see the positive side of everything

As qh is not only about sanam and ahil,its not possible that they show them everytime and now after seher's entry,she also gets equal importance like seher ( aap maano ya na maano) so if you like only a particular character and hate others then you will be the person who will loose interst

Every show will have characters who are loved Extremely , Good , Average and completely dislike

But if you start disliking every character other than only two then i think they can never enjoy the show...Even i like watching sahil scenes a lot but i also like watching seher and tanveer and lateef too but haya and rahat scenes are only average for me but i never give up completely...Last time also i used to do the same, i used to skip all the scenes at ayans house but it only spoiled my interest and i was not connected to the show completely...A show is not about only one or two characters...so i watch haya-rahat scenes once where i watch others repeatedly...

Its just the way you look at something and i can say that im interested with qh a lot and many not be and there many aspects which im eagerly waiting for...

1. Sanam - Seher faceoff

2. Sanam - seher knowing they are sisters (i know it will take a lot of time)

3. Ahil - seher face off ( which im wating eagerly)

4. Tanveer knowing that there are twins

5. Sanam-seher knowing about their parents truth

6. Rehan - seher story ( which im not that interested)

7. Seher knowing that rehan loved sanam

8. Sanam knowing that rehan loved sanam

9. Ahil and sanam knowing that rehan loved sanam's humshakal

10. The after life knowing every truth

I think all these are more than enough for us to keep us glued to the show

So i have completed my post after 3 long days...many may agreee and may not...but i think if you think twice then you may agree with me...All your comments are accepted and also keeping pateince while reading...

the whole point of the entertainment industry is ultimately to entertain..
i think thats all they should do..
if a certain character isnt entertaining, i dont think lectures have to be given on why we should find it entertaining...the end point is that character isnt liked by many.
and as for the watchman story- morality at the lowest i guess..

its like someone creates something, that too so deformed.. and gives lectures on why everyone should accept it..i dont think we need anyone to tell us something that deformed isnt actually deformed.
