There has been a lot of speculation whether Zee TVs popular Muslim social, Qubool Hai, will wrap up dueto financial issues with the production house, Four Lions. The way the story has been panning out in the near term had also led to fearamongst the cast that the end was near.To top it all, buzz was that the lead actor Karanveer Bohra might quit, but rubbishing these rumours,Karanveer had come on record to say that he never leaves a show midway.It has now been confirm that the show has indeed been given an extension of a year.

According to sources Zee took the decision as most of its other shows apart from Kumkum Bhagya and Jodha Akbar are not doing well. Hence they decided to keep it on as the show is getting decent to good ratings. The numbers have only gotten better (2.6) after the twin sister romance track was eased.Since Gul Khan (Four Lions head) is facing financial crunches it is assumed that the channel will foot the additional bill as senior actors like Bohra will surely ask for a raise in consummation with their market status.



According to a source Surbhi Jyoti's contract will lapse in March 2015 but she will mostly continue asshe is happy with the cast and crew.


Gul confirmed the extension and when asked about the financial crunch she maintained her earlier line that things are now fine as," they have new promoters on board." She also added that ,"some time channel do enter the payment zone when certain actors salaries are beyond normal budgets the channel always chips in but that happens always and does not meanthat production house is facing a cash crunch."
