But in the end it'll lead to more love scenes of sahil so I'm all for it and it may lead to an outburst confession of: I love sanam!!!

I think that this is a way for Aahil to learn some things about Tanveer and her motives. Because Khala knows more than Aahil and Sanam do so maybe when she's drunk, she lets a few things slip that make Aahil question his mother's motives and plans.
