An interesting point:
Tunveer plays her cards right (most) every time.
Even now (upcoming scene), she does not tell ARI that S is after money, or she is not good, etc..what she tells him is that it is he who comes up short (no pun intended... he he he...😉😆).Gasp! *scandalized* ARI coming short !! *giggle* LoL!Yeah, Tanveer is knifing him in the gut, where it hurts the most. But he has already seen the lack of caring on her part since her release from prison. That compared to Sanam's adoration has to push him enough to pick a side.I know (taking two steps back..) that this is rooting for a son to go against his mother for his wife. Which mothers (with older sons) will see as "tsk-tsk" stabbing mum in the back...But this is Tanveer we are talking about. who has probably a quarter of motherly feelings, all reserved for Rehan only. Aahil has been feeling her disdain a lot now. He can't be blind.
Basically, she is pointing out his weak points and making him arrive at the conclusion that he and S are not meant to be... rather than telling him that, because the surest way to have someone not do something is to tell them to do it.
I wonder...how come ARI, MR. Khan, ASR, etc...are all such savvy businessmen and so blind (and deaf and dumb) to manipulations within the family... even the blindly devout follower will wake up at some point rather than wait for a time to be hit smack in the face by catching the culprit red-handed.
Somethings are meant to be reasoned out rather than told/shown.
Sigh.this is a good point Jayne...But how many men do you know would instantly believe his mother is anything less than a saint. Not many... Some do, but want to avoid the melodrama associated with going against your mother. But I think Aahil is getting there. There were hints already... "Yeh Ammi bhi naa, her only concern is the properties..."But Faiz on the other hand is such a weakling. Rahat too. Faiz, in response to finding out his aunt's machinations, didn't go to Haya and apologize at all, and plead his case there. Instead he just assumed he could just waltz back in there and be her husband again. And this grown child is being enabled by a weak spineless Rahat. Haya seems to be doomed to a tragic story of manipulation. In my head I see Sanam taking her away with the fire in her eyes we saw when they wanted to kick them out of house in Punjab.
I knew male leads are usually nothing more than props - soaps are all female-oriented - but with looks would it have killed the CVs to throw in some brains, as well?
