Uma, you watch with your mom thts cool. My mom Is not at all a tv person and she doesnt understand hindi much.

But my mom in law though she doest understand hindi so very well still she watches hindi serials. And I dont feel much comforable watching all these with mom but with my MIL i dont have any problem.She has been always like a friend to me. i often discuss everything with her which i dont feel like sharing with anyone else..
