The forum is in a frenzy over Rehan simply because his character is being explored. See, he was all packed to leave, but Aahil had made Tannu send him away. And it was as if, after realising that this was not his place, he was actually shown and told the same. By his own mother, and well a brother like.
Aahil is mad, so called him mulazzim. Just when seconds before he called him bhai jaisa.
Now Aahil is right in his place.
But really why did Rehan entered the room?
It wasn't like he went there to catch a falling Sanam. He went there to clear things out about the incident at the cafe. Where he took Seher as Sanam.
And it was a weird thing to happen according to him. After crying and all that. And she just ran off.
Now, even at the cafe with Seher, he said, why blame Aahil when he was the one who saved Badi Ammi and in so doing he got badly hurt too.
So see! It's not like he just forgets about Aahil.
Even before HaFa Nikah, when Sanam told Rehan that Aahil standing up for her makes her realise that he's not that bad a person. Rehan was getting the vibes already...he could tell that Sanam and Aahil were warming up to each other. And Sanam too said that he, Rehan, is just an employer in that house, how could he convince Begum Sahiba.
Then the scene between Rehan and Aahil. This was a man who is accused of getting close to his boss' wife.
Aahil knows Rehan has feelings for Sanam. But she's his wife now. And he's having a difficult time too.
And Rehan took the hint, and decided to leave.
And now Seher is spicing things up. And we get to see more shades to Rehan! And all that muttering under his breath. The one liners.
Rehan is growing in character!
Rehan is getting important.
And the best part? He's not the lead.
